I have downloaded this myself and it works fine minus the fact that this user did not post the serial key so you cannot activate Windows 7 without the product key. This download he posted in the description is pointless because after 30 days if you do not activate Windows 7 with serial key then you get locked out of your own computer. I have tried over 20 different serial keys and none of them work for this download he posted so its pointless. Just saying.

@TheJosh547 Save your time it doesn't work. I just downloaded and this user forgot to post the serial key. If you do not have the serial key your computer will lock itself after 30 days until you provide the serial key. The keys posted above are no longer working as they have been black listed by microsoft so no one can use them. I have been trying for like 2 weeks now to activate windows 7 and got nothing. None of the keys I found for this download work so I doubt they will work for anyone.

@jimtheguru1 you have to get a specific one depending on your operating system if you have 32bit system then you need the 32 bit and if you have 64bit you need the 64bit.

I have not tried this and I am not planning to, but this is totally illegal. Its fine up until the point where you use that activator - NO IDEA how that works. But its not legal. BTW you can keep all your files and programs by 'upgrading' instead of 'custom installation'.

@petaahkicks i did this and had XP. what it does is when it installs windows 7 it creates a folder on your hardrive called windows.old and theres where everything from your hardrive when you had XP will be located. programs you will most likely have to reinstall again but files will still work perfect. @every1isdead Hey, don't worry about that; recovery is a partition on your hard drive that probably came with your computer, and if you activate it, it restores your computer to factory settings (out-of-the-box, all your data will be deleted), which is best used when your computer is badly infected with viruses. My HP laptop came with a recovery partition too.

@aznboy1129 you cant access the internet because you must have chosen a custom install meaning you done a clean install wiping out programs and drivers with it.. the only way is by either downloading your drivers according to your network card or restoring back to your old OS backing up and doing the install again. or you can get a driver programe to detect what other drivers you are missing for your hardware and install them again :)!
