Underworld 3 is a prequel...a sequel that takes before the original movies. Like Star Wars I II and III were made AFTER the originals, but the plot takes place before the films. Underworld 3 shows how the war started before the 1st and 2nd film. Underworld 4(confirmed) is gonna continue after Evolution left off

Well vampires and warewolvs came up from the Slavic mythology and people really believed in them here. Not long ago have archeologists found 4 bodies from the times of kingdom of Great Morava (9.century) which were killed as vampires with silver rods in their chests. Vampires became popular in western Europe only in late 19th. century, but here people really believed in them and hunted them down. Till now there are many stories about vampires and warewolfs here in Slovakia.

the reason why victor is alive is because the story takes place before the first two movies. so basically this movie is gonna explain how underworld started. when victor finds out that his daughter is in love with a lycan he kills her but lucian escapes.

What don't you get? Did you see the first two movies? Victor went into the eternal sleep chamber, and the girl at the end wasn't Sonya, but she resembled her so, and thats why Victor spared her when he killed off her whole family. That is the girl from the first two movies, but it isn't Sonya. After watching this movie, I really feel for Lucian, and I wish he didn't die.. If only this were a true story. I'm down for being a Likan,lol! Great movie, and an absolute must see! Twenty stars!!!
