I mean your implying that you do 45 minutes all out.all out means no rest. You've got some good movements going, a few tips that I think might help. Make sure you keep the non-punching hand up, that you pull back high and most important of all. More body behind the punches, you're using way to much arms. practice hooks and uppercuts without moving the arms, merely twist the body and push with the legs to get power. good luck and train hard!!!

i dont know much about effective boxing technique but your skill looks very fluent and you attack the bag very proffesionally unlike me who goes at it with sloppy macho winging punches. how heavy is that round bag? it looks pretty heavy?

OK keep it up, tell the kids to stick with it, never give up, run everyday, and to make sure they learn something in every sparring session and every fight, that its not just a fight its getting them ready for the real thing....the pros...I will start my strength training the last week of July. We do a lil' now, but we will take out an hour to an hour and a half to add the strength training into my daily routine. Thanks for taking an interest.

Heavy Bag, because I'm so used to it, but I like to use both for those reasons you mentioned, plus others, you can throw every punch on the heavy bag, but you can injure yourself if its not done right, so I use this bag, because I can throw them all with maximum power on all punches, without twisting a wrist or pulling my skin back on my knuckles!!
OK, coach!! but I hit the bag for 20-25 minutes straight, I have to pace myself or my intensity will start to slow down alot as I get tired in the second-half of the bag drill, once I'm conditioned enough to go all out for the whole 25 mins, I will!!

Its a "tear drop" or "wrecking ball bag" They are good for practicing the uppercut and some body punches as well as a change of pace from other bags.
