how long did the circular breathing take for you to figure out? I am making some nice drones and rhythms...and a few animals that for the moment sound like they might be ill, but it's still a lot of fun.
I have my head around the breathing, but can only do it in practice occasionally, and with a poor sound on the cheek push.
will keep at it...hope to get to your level one day
you should record it professionally, thats if you have a microphone or something to record with.. but dont waste money on a big ass studio for one instrument XD just use your camera if you want to be cheep like me.. im using a camera too. but i dont have a original didgeridoo.. i have a PVC Pipe XD.. by the way have you tried it with a PVC pipe to start off?
if so was it a big difference when you started using the actual wood?
Yep, I started off on pvc as well... Well actually I started on teakwood - from a tourist store... I must say PVC sounded better then the teak, also pressure wize etc. - After that I bought me one of tribal earth, the slide didge from pvc, that sounds really good for a pvc one and isnt too expensive either.
But this didge is a HUGE difference from pvc. but that also is cause its a high quality didge. PVC sounds better then some sticks so, id say, first try the tribal earthslide
oh man I wish you were like my budy or something I would smoke and hang out with you man. first thing I do when I get high is run to my computer and watch this video like 5 times....
The breathing technique should not stop you from playing - because its just something that can be learned when the idea of whats happening is understood...
I'm even willing to help you to get it down ;). Btw, dont spend too much at a first didge lol, first try on a plastic tube 32mm wide and about 1m30 lol (the hard tube of the vaccuum cleaner works just as well)
Its a great way to get a feel for it, and to discover its something you REALLY like it ;) and worth investing
Where are you from?

Nice didge man. Where did find yours? I just started playing this year and it's possibly one of the most enjoyable things I've ever learned.
