  • BRUTALITY

  • fucking awesome!

  • absolutely fucking amazing!

  • just a little info to my friends:

Dio worked with Sabbath from 1979 to 1982,in 1982 Dio and Vinny Appice quit Sabbath and formed the band Dio,Tyr was recorded in 1990 with vocals of Tony Martin.Dio returned to Sabbath in 1992 and thats the reason Martin quit.

  • Only a complete fool would dislike this.

  • Funny. The band is called Tyr. Dio made an album with Sabbath called "Tyr." And this singer sounds like Dio which makes it better. haha. ahaha. I made a funny. aha

  • @SilentDestruction900 "Frontman Heri Joensen of viking metal band Týr claims to have been influenced by the album cover when designing his own band's logo."

From the wikipedia page about the Tyr album by Black Sabbath.

  • @JorisKanters I know. I understand Influence. i wasn't tryin to trash anything. Just bein dumb. I was so stoked when I heard this cause I thought it was Dio but it was actually Heri. I cried a little but i think it's tight there's someone carrying Dio's torch

  • @SilentDestruction900

tyr was made with the vocals ot Tni Martin who was the lead singer after Dio.

  • @SilentDestruction900

Dio was not on the TYR album by Sabbath, it was Tony Martin who was with them at the time. A Sabbath hidden gem in my opinion. Cheers!

  • @theyanluzexperience this song is not from TYR (de b s albun) it is from DEHUMANIZER and of course Dio was part of B Sabbath but that time......

  • @yoyotaka14 Ohhhhh! Sorry, I misread or something! I was thinking of the TYR album with Tony Martin in it. My bad! ;)

  • @theyanluzexperience It's ok tyr the albun with tony martin and the one with dio Dehumanizer are both excelente recordings as Black Sabbath is a pioneer band... TYR this band is olso good and the cover they made is excellent... bands like TYR, D Theater, Opeth, and same few others ae making us believe not all music today is comercial or bad music... take care.. and keep on enjoying this good music (apllogize for my bad english I'm from Argentina spanish language)...

  • @SilentDestruction900 You seemed so awkward at the end of that comment. It made me laugh.

  • @SilentDestruction900

Wrong. The Singer of the Album "Tyr" was Tony Martin and on the following Album "Headless Cross" too;)

  • This is Chuck Norri's favorite song!

  • is it just me, or do Heri's vocals sound a little on the South Park end on this track?

  • Holy FUCK.

  • i am mindblown :P

  • Haven't heard that song in over 3 years maybe

Honestly at the beginning of the song and in some parts the vocalist sounds exactly like Dio ...

    RIP Dio

And Cheers for the great cover !!!!

Thanks so much for uploading this :D:D

  • simply: LOL

    it's brilliant and extrange¡¡¡

  • Ozzy > Dio ALWAYS!

  • @HubGames

Ozzy is a metal icon.... But DIO was and always will be a metal god!

  • @leaderOFlosers You can't be serious. I know Dio sings better than Ozzy, butOzzy is WAY awesome.

  • @HubGames

To me and many others DIO was better.

  • @leaderOFlosers Agreed wholeheartedly

  • its not dio retards its black sabbath hence OZZY fuck r-tards

  • @vikingmanish I can't believe how stupid you are.. Ozzy wans't the only vocalist of black sabath.. listen to the original song and tell me again that's Ozzy..

  • @vikingmanish

This is the DIO era of Black Sabbath.

  • My favourite Dio-era song and my favourite folk metal band!

  • pretty freaking good.

  • Korpiklaani covering Motorhead, Tyr covering Black Sabbath... Those guys know where are their roots!

  • @Zabynou Don't forget Ensiferum covering Judas Priest!

  • @purplesquirrl Yeah, they're great too!

  • love this cover version!

  • mm hm...

  • Dio has a good song here

  • Unlike Dio, when they say they are giant. They're a monster? I don't believe them.

  • @Phobotech 10 minutes later ... : die unbeliever !!

  • One of the best Black Sabbath cover ever

  • This is the best Dio cover ever.

  • For those of you confused - title says Black Sabbath cover and everyone in comments mentions Dio - Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy in Black Sabbath when this song was recorded as part of the Heaven/Hell saga - or atleast in a few words.

  • @piedpiperpied This was on the Dehumanizer album which was in '92.

  • Tyr covering Dio? Thats fucking amazing!

  • @MrShenlong191 And they do it *twice* on this album. Feels like a fine tribute to a Legend, to me. \oo/

  • @bigpileofcrock Yeah Stargazer as well they did a great job covering the greatest metal artist that ever lived

  • great cover

  • I'm listening to it for the first time now and I want to scream the words... Definetly a hymn!

  • @Gerhardter The first time ever, or just their version? Definitely check out the original version. Dio tears it up.

    RIP.

  • @zarucarsha Of course I know the original but this one's not bad either and I'm really looking forward to bang my head to it live!
