Well Windows was the first operating system so essentially mac copied windows.

windows wasnt at first an os the first three windows ran on top of DOS, the first os's were raw code and dos wasnt even the first one, i have a homebuilt 8080 running a predos os called cp/m and thats from 1980 dos came about in 1982
