lol I remember when I used to wait for the red truck to come around and slow down to around the same speed and just cruise along side it.. since it was nearly invincible it acted as a shield from the other cars.. I desperately wanted to see if you could beat this game somehow, someway.. but no, you just go through the same areas over and over and over :/

I WISH I STILL HAD THIS GAME AND A WAY TO RECORD IT. I use to be able to play for fucking EVER!! I remember turning into a boat like 3 times in one game and going through at least 4 or 5 ice levels. It would piss me off though cause in one game after about 45 minutes of play i ALMOST got far enough to roll over my score and i LOST!! so exhausting i never got that far again.

I tell u this man. They need to make more games that work well with the g25 steering wheel. . I have the Gran Turismo 5 racing game chair and g25 steering wheel. Dream with me for a minute. @VintageGamer77 You can't beat it. It's old school arcade design. Paul Dean currently holds the highest score with 9,512,590 set in 1986. No one besides him has even hit the 1 million mark.

The problem with this game is it was designed around 82-83 so its a game without end. Back then it was all about the "high score". So there are no "bosses" or even a proper end. I played this game for hours with unlimited lives and man does it get boring.

@satorres82 Ok this is what I figured! I spent many an afternoon playing the hell out of this game trying to get to the end just to beat it or at least make it to some kind of boss and what you found makes me feel vindicated for the fact I was never able to complete this game.

@ScubaSteveM45 A friend of mine had an atari/ nes/ arcade game emulator on computer cd and of course there where hacks you could activate, such as invulnerability or unlimited lives. I finally got to beat many games that haunted my youth, such as "ghosts n' goblins". Remember that peice of trash? That would be one fro the "angry nintendo nerd". Take care.

Even as far as NES games go, the sound effects are pretty terrible in this game...they sound like an Atari 2600 game.

It's a fun game though.

best iv'e seen.and i played this game for over 30 years from time to time. (arcade) and on the nes. got to the boat,and to the ice.but thats it = game over. good job. how are you at rolling thunder ? another classic it was on nes,and can be found on namco battleground collection. (pa2-psp) spyhunter is also on midway essures 2 (ps2-psp) keep them alive !

Want a good hint guys Hold in Right + Select+A and B then hit Start while still holding. You start out with all weapons. Don't Crash at all when the timer runs out you have 10 lives. It helps.
