Touring is where all the real money is for bands now, not so much is made by selling albums (or downloads) anymore and definitely not by having your fans watch your video over and over and over for free on youtube. U2 and the Stones are definitely the two biggest tour draws in music these days, but I'd have to say U2 is the bigger draw, they are the only band that can sell out outdoor football stadiums on every inhabited continent, many times two nights in a row!

@death2620 YOU! sing better than Bob Dylan but not matter what I would pay to see Dylan sing. Mick Jagger has never had a "classic" voice but yet he could deliver a song as best as anyone out there. And Bono has an incredible voice that he can sing his own songs great and cover others songs spectacularly. Have you heard his cover of Radioheads "Creep"? Amazing! (to me at least). He kicked ass.

i mean, buddy guy.... In 2006 I have the luck to see in a month (February) U2 in the vertigo tour, and thee weeks later to the stones.... and both were great.... but, no comparison. The stones are amazing. Then this year I saw U2 again in the 360.... and they give one of the best shows I´ve seen in my life.

It's never been an easy song for Bono to sing its got alot of highs for him. Bono has overall gotten most of his voice back after quitting smoking some yrs ago.
