@kinkaid25 Hard for me? Not at all. Though for the life of me I can't see where you think I may have been understeering!??!??! And I hope I won't need further practice driving a car with gearbox fluid leaking under the car into the rear wheels and fuel tank. I think the trick will be to fix the problem, not learn to drive a car on oil :)
Nothing wrong with the man's driving there! That car looked quite a handful (even before the accident) and well driven, getting on the throttle very early onto that main straight. Confident driving/tasty R32 from the way it was driving. Shame about the spin hope you got it all sorted and back on the road.
@kinkaid25 Obviously you think you can drive well. I doubt that very much based on your stupid and incorrect assumption that he was understeering - to anybody who knows how to race it's obviously a total loss of traction at the rear while driving almost straight. OZHCR32, you car is identical to mine, good luck in the future they are awesome cars!
@adampope64 , not sure you correctly understand what happened. The car was never going to understeer. If it wasnt for the locking rear wheels i would have been able to go through the essess like all the other laps with no problem. The entry speed of front end grip wasnt the problem, it was the locking the rear wheels on my own gearbox fluid
Sandown can be a bit like that without sorting the suspension out. However, fantastic save that guy made. watch it again and pay particular attention to where he is looking. He is tracking round all the way. I am led to believe that this was a mechanical failure under braking more than driver error. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but from what I see using Youtube's crappy quality you were braking fine until you hit this bump and you rear tires locked up or something, right? Or wrong?
Its possible, the car definitely gets caught out by the bumps but the main problem was the oil over the underside of the car coming from teh gearbox. You can see at the start of the vid, 3rd gear onto the straight it had a lot of wheelspin which is unusual for my car at that part of the track

DONT even get into that he should have turned into it bullshit. We all know you would have paniced and done the same exact thing....Its natural to panic at a time like that especially when ur driving a car like that.
wow I thought it was gonna be a much harder hit..cars prob just got some cosmetic and minor suspension issues to work out...well..and new tires...How the hell did he slide soo far without hitting that wall?
was some good driving there mate, fast car, good control, just looks like u got a bit hungry for those rumble strips. Ive been to Sandown a few times, and the first thing i learnt was to stay off the strips on the exit of turn 4, they are very unforgiving. Still, u did well to keep it going until the end there.
Did you have to pay for the damage to the barrier? A mate of mine was driving at Sandown one year and he dropped oil on the circuit. Next minuite a charger came flying along, got caught up in the oil and smashed into the barrier. No body's fault, but the poor bloke in the charger was made to pay for the barrier to be replaced. I can understand if the accident was your fault, but as was the case with you and also the guy in the charger, no one should be charged for the repair bill.
Fair call. A bit of kerb hopping makes a bit of difference to the lap time. I run a data logger and can gain tenths throug turns 2,3 & 4 if you let the car run wide and use the concrete on the back of the kerb. A better driver could probably be just as quick being smoother through there without using as much kerb...
How was i supposed to know the gearbox is leaking fluid onto the underside meaning it was about lock/lose the rear end? I have a lot to learn and can of course improve...but i am a mug club car punter, mechanical issue caught me out. I am just glad i didnt put enough oil down to cause another car an accident like is so often the case. A guy only last weekend wrote off his WRX rolling his car after losing the car because someone dropped engine oil on a 4th gear sweeper
I can't believe some people have the nerve to criticize you over this. Atleast you can admit that you have alot to learn, even if it was a mechanical failure that caused you to hit the fence. Here they are saying " ohh you shouldn't hit the kerbs" or "ohh you should be ready to catch the slide" and all this shit, yet you probably wouldn't see them posting any vids of themselves crashing. Keep up the good work mate.
I reckon he just stepped into that corner way too fast... he seemed pretty hesitant to corner it hard everywhere else, then pushed it too hard on that corner! Nice save tho, and good to see he got back amongst it straight away!
Wow man that really does suck, even if I don't have much experience with going to the track, it looks like all the weight rushed forward and making your tail really light, your rear wheels locked, causing the car to swing like that.
BTW, how much was the repair job to fix everything?
Wasnt too bad. Well that what i thought. I went to recently get the small dent fixed and turns out the rear end was movfed accross. So have gone full respray and complete repair so costing me too much
sorry guys havent read any of the comments but having a look at what happen didnt seem to be the drivier fault... it looks like he went over a small bump which caused the rear left tire to grip more then the right... which made him spin out.
damn i saw that comin. i was thinking "damn hes mashin that there should be a turn soon...." the wham.. This is a GT-S im assuming because of the other comments. So its RWD? Sorry I dont know much about the drivetrains and transmission n stuff in the skyline..I just know RB series engines are awesome. Did you import this to America? I want to but i worry its too expensive. Please reply to me?
hello skyline from R32 to R34 was only LHD and it was imported only by private buyers mostly from japan. The R35 is a new one and first to offer in RHD but its priced as 911:(
look on ebay I saw a few for sell there but its hard to drive an lhd car in an rhd country like US. you sit on the wrong sid and see shit + its hard to swap a steering wheel and stuff cause as I said ther was no rhd versions. I think you will have to pay about 15k for R33 which in may opinion is the best skyline ever.
i meant rear wheel DRIVE like, the r32 and r33 both have All wheel drive or Rear wheel drive on them right? I know u can choose which u want. Or is only the GTR? does the GTS also have both? And why do you think the r33 is the best? Its the heaviest of all skylines, I think the r32 is the coolest!
this is so the sub frame wont shift. also when you can step up to some 18in rims and up grade to the V36/z34 Nissan calipers and dic's (14.1F) & (13.8r)off the top idk what that is in mm but its a lot larger then the gt-s ones. weiling up the supprt area around the fron t/c rods helps out a lot as well. :).
LOL, i already run aftermarket Brembo brakes F$R. The weight of the car tdoes not require bigger then current 343F and 300R rotors. I would like to runs 18s but the cost of rubber goes up around $500 a set. So again for the weight of the car 17s dont seem to be too bad temperature, wear and grip wise. So cant see the need to spend more money on the 18s and add weight to the car.
And i appreciate your comments, so am not dismissing them but this is my street car. Its important to remember that
you dont put your thumbs through the weel as if you come off and hit a wall head on you have a very high chance of snapping your thumbs. and there is a method of hand placement for ease of shifting and to lower the chance that you will get the wrong gear.
not picking on you i think you are a good driver only saying what i see from experience on the track. sorry if i offended.
Yeh, fair point. But i suspect its a bit of a wives tail the breaking fingers. Having a comfortable grip on the steering wheel is my first consideration but i will keep that in mind. Some other people have made similar comments and looking at in car footage of race car drivers it seems to be driver preferance
when possibile, get rid of the rubber bushings and get the solid mounts for the rear subframe. as well suspension do you have in it ? what sort of LSD is in it ? what sort of camber and toe are you running ?
Camber is -3.5F, 1.75R, toe is 0F and 2R (in)I have Nismo replacement sub frame bushes with pineapples to adjust the cradle angle to help with power down. Cant do that with the soid alloy bushes. The cradle angle is more important. Std LCA with new nolathane and Noltec front upper arms and cusco castor and rear arms
might not want to run so much camber on the frnt like that 1.5mm with 1mm in on the front for the toe and the same for the rear but 1.5mm only and 0 zero toe on the rear. with that said the rear suspension. as for the rear bushings, im talking about drilling out the rubber part and useing all soild cnc machined bushing that is alunumum.
Tyre wear is even and temps even accross tyre face. So camber is about right. Have tried a range of toe settings and i like how it is at present. Have had the car for 9 years so have tried many combinations.
Re cradle, understand what you are saying, but cant adjust the cradle angle using off the shelf components...so with the current arrangment there isnt excessive movement so dont see the need to engineer another solution. Traction is not an issue with the car
fuking tops to that crash oh well at least you gave it shit my mate is way to pussy to touch the accelerator on the corners in his 32. ah have you stripped out all de interior seems a little slow when u gunned it
It has about 260rwkws, though i cant remember if if on the day i had the boost at 234rwkws or 260rwkws. The film/spray of oil from gearbox makes for poor traction and look like it has more power then it does. New Teins in the car and it is worlds better then the Bilsteins i removed. On the back straight i hit about 235-240km/h
i see, looks pretty fast to me and must be awesome with the new suspension. 260kw seems to be a great power level for a balanced circuit car. i'm nearly done with my s14 250kw build (sr20, gt2876, 264/264) and i'll be quite happy if my car performs similarly to yours.
Firstly, Well done for getting out there! Looks like your pretty good from your other vids! Secondly, What Happened? Was there a bit of oil on the track or something? Looked so random but looks like you may have started your braking and hit some oil or something!
It is pretty bumpy in the braking area, and the car didnt ride bumps too well at the best of times. But yeh, oil was the drama. Only it was my oil :( Gearbox was leaking fluid all over the underside of the car. Didnt help that I didnt pick up on the poor traction of earlier laps being a symptom of a bigger problem which was going to cause the car to swap ends at over 200km/h
Yep, Oil will do it every time!! You did a fantastic job to semi hold it together at those speeds!! Oh well, the joys of racing I guess!! Not A Cheap Thing To Do!
Not when small stuff results in expensive fixes :) In hindshight i should have caught onto the fact that the car was handling a bit different. But i suppose thats the difference between a hack club guy and a bloke who knows what he is doing :) I really marvel at the Pros and their ability to process all the info...what the car is doing, talk to crew etc etc and still race
Lol. Expensive fixes are what teach us right from wrong. I guess now you know when something is up with the car in terms of funky handling. But I do agree with you about the pro drivers. I am a big motor racing fan and to see how the drivers are able to pin point a problem with their setup astounds me! But still, good on ya for getting out there and best of luck with it all.
hate these people ... all smart ass remarks on how u should drive and u should of done this and done that .. im just suprised on how randomly it happened .. good save tho able to drive it back .. good stuff mate
lucky escape , looks like you hold the weel to tightly and how your thumbs sit if you have a head on you will snap both your thumbs hand is on the wrong side of the gear stick for 3rd to 4th drivving is a little avarage but all and all i think you did farkin well for what happened and especily at sandown mate put my AE86 in to a wall there did a great job to.
are you an instructor? for starters, it is 4wdriving that you dont put your thumbs through the wheel. look at any race incar footage. secondly, holding the gearstick wrong!? wth?
Doesn't look like you could of done a whole lot to avoid this. Car looks like it can be a handful add oil on the tires and you got no hope. Good on ya for getting back out there. You are probably a whole lot better then 99.9% of drivers out there including me.
wow most of you guys are idiots! how could you think all skylines are awd? haha how can you comment on how messy the driving is when you dont even know what drivetrain the car is running? these engines come on boost like a lightbulb with big turbos, i gotta r32 with rb21 and a gt3040 its the same, bytheway dude awesome driving! good to see someone able to drive the car to its limits you didnt even panic when it spun and it looked like you were goin flat nanga i would sharted my pants!
I am a long way from perfect, if i thought i was i woudl never have posted this vid. Have to ask though, what do you mean by "all over the friggin road way before even the crash"? Can you single out a corner/s?
yeah at about 10 seconds, 29 seconds, 45 seconds was just sad althought i'm not sure how fast you are going around these corners though but you seemed pretty unstable for those corners
Cheers for feedback. @10sec, car is a 260rwkws rwd 2L, so had some unexpected wheelspin in 3rd gear. Perhaps i should have realised something was wrong with traction then and there? @29&45 sec, using kerbs allow you to carry more corner speed, and @45 sec there is even concrete on the back of the kerb. You lose lots of time to other cars if you dont use the extra room it affords you on corner exit. Agree it looks messy riding over it though. Corner speed? Well slowest is 4,000rpm in 3rd gear
What?! rwd? i thought that all skylines except the newer 2008 and up GTR were AWD, and 4k rpm in 3rd mahn you must be facking flying around those corners, lol
It is a GTSt, so is rwd. I am running between 235-260rwkws depending on boost through 235/40/17 rear tyres. So some wheelspin is expected, but not normal when tyres are warm and
hey guise i are race carz

Yeah, that looks like a suspension issue, maybe his tire camber is off. He also might have needed a change of rubber.

wow I thought it was gonna be a much harder hit..cars prob just got some cosmetic and minor suspension issues to work out...well..and new tires...How the hell did he slide soo far without hitting that wall?
NismoFinder 2 years ago
should of turnt INTO the spin not away from it he might not of hit the wall then
GreendragonDMX1 2 years ago
Your an idiot... watch his hands, he turns into the slide to correct it, then it starts spinning... not much else he could have done.

Good to see someone using there skyline for what it was made for. If you don't crash your not pushing hard enough.
dave32gtr 2 years ago
was some good driving there mate, fast car, good control, just looks like u got a bit hungry for those rumble strips. Ive been to Sandown a few times, and the first thing i learnt was to stay off the strips on the exit of turn 4, they are very unforgiving. Still, u did well to keep it going until the end there.
alfaromeoman 2 years ago
LOL, i will add when i managed to complete a lap earlier in the day 1:23.02 isnt too bad for a street car around Sandown.
OZHCR32 2 years ago
Did you have to pay for the damage to the barrier? A mate of mine was driving at Sandown one year and he dropped oil on the circuit. Next minuite a charger came flying along, got caught up in the oil and smashed into the barrier. No body's fault, but the poor bloke in the charger was made to pay for the barrier to be replaced. I can understand if the accident was your fault, but as was the case with you and also the guy in the charger, no one should be charged for the repair bill.
19escort73 2 years ago
I dont think ur supposed to hit the rumble strip if its the same height as a brick and throws ur car over the road
foilpact 2 years ago
Fair call. A bit of kerb hopping makes a bit of difference to the lap time. I run a data logger and can gain tenths throug turns 2,3 & 4 if you let the car run wide and use the concrete on the back of the kerb. A better driver could probably be just as quick being smoother through there without using as much kerb...
OZHCR32 2 years ago
your driving is not on form. you need to know what the cars guna do before it happens, no guessing.
tomass123 2 years ago
How was i supposed to know the gearbox is leaking fluid onto the underside meaning it was about lock/lose the rear end? I have a lot to learn and can of course improve...but i am a mug club car punter, mechanical issue caught me out. I am just glad i didnt put enough oil down to cause another car an accident like is so often the case. A guy only last weekend wrote off his WRX rolling his car after losing the car because someone dropped engine oil on a 4th gear sweeper
OZHCR32 2 years ago
I can't believe some people have the nerve to criticize you over this. Atleast you can admit that you have alot to learn, even if it was a mechanical failure that caused you to hit the fence. Here they are saying " ohh you shouldn't hit the kerbs" or "ohh you should be ready to catch the slide" and all this shit, yet you probably wouldn't see them posting any vids of themselves crashing. Keep up the good work mate.
19escort73 2 years ago
I'd say he wrapped on the opposite lock about as fast as possible. Even 4wd wouldn't have stopped it from backing into that corner.
furrybarry 2 years ago
I reckon he just stepped into that corner way too fast... he seemed pretty hesitant to corner it hard everywhere else, then pushed it too hard on that corner! Nice save tho, and good to see he got back amongst it straight away!
dixta81 2 years ago
man fair sketchy thought u were going to crash each corner you turned at
eyrieeyrie 2 years ago
A little secret: i think the same thing every corner of every lap! :)
OZHCR32 2 years ago
aww that makes me sad! bad luck !! that car looks very slippery haha, gotta learn how to tame the beast :P what running gear does it have in it?
lidawgnz 2 years ago
Internally std RB20 with bolt ons including Trust TD06-20g
OZHCR32 2 years ago
Wow man that really does suck, even if I don't have much experience with going to the track, it looks like all the weight rushed forward and making your tail really light, your rear wheels locked, causing the car to swing like that.
BTW, how much was the repair job to fix everything?
yourmotherrules 3 years ago
Wasnt too bad. Well that what i thought. I went to recently get the small dent fixed and turns out the rear end was movfed accross. So have gone full respray and complete repair so costing me too much
OZHCR32 2 years ago
Wow man that sucks... Hmm I should look at more of your vids...

It looks like he dont have a wing...it could help in that kind of speed when slammed the brakes:p

badluck mate... it looks like you lifted off the gas causing the the weight to shift to the front causing the back end to spin out... nasty

RR1Joel 3 years ago
sorry guys havent read any of the comments but having a look at what happen didnt seem to be the drivier fault... it looks like he went over a small bump which caused the rear left tire to grip more then the right... which made him spin out.

damn i saw that comin. i was thinking "damn hes mashin that there should be a turn soon...." the wham.. This is a GT-S im assuming because of the other comments. So its RWD? Sorry I dont know much about the drivetrains and transmission n stuff in the skyline..I just know RB series engines are awesome. Did you import this to America? I want to but i worry its too expensive. Please reply to me?
squarecnix 3 years ago
hello skyline from R32 to R34 was only LHD and it was imported only by private buyers mostly from japan.
I think you will have to pay about 15k for R33 which in may opinion is the best skyline ever.
kurtoneal 3 years ago
i meant rear wheel DRIVE like, the r32 and r33 both have All wheel drive or Rear wheel drive on them right? I know u can choose which u want. Or is only the GTR? does the GTS also have both? And why do you think the r33 is the best? Its the heaviest of all skylines, I think the r32 is the coolest!
squarecnix 3 years ago
R32-R34 GTST's are all Rear wheel, and the GTR are all 4WD.
jordanozkiller 3 years ago
this is so the sub frame wont shift. also when you can step up to some 18in rims and up grade to the V36/z34 Nissan calipers and dic's (14.1F) & (13.8r)off the top idk what that is in mm but its a lot larger then the gt-s ones. weiling up the supprt area around the fron t/c rods helps out a lot as well. :).
racer98 3 years ago
LOL, i already run aftermarket Brembo brakes F$R. The weight of the car tdoes not require bigger then current 343F and 300R rotors. I would like to runs 18s but the cost of rubber goes up around $500 a set. So again for the weight of the car 17s dont seem to be too bad temperature, wear and grip wise. So cant see the need to spend more money on the 18s and add weight to the car.
And i appreciate your comments, so am not dismissing them but this is my street car. Its important to remember that
OZHCR32 3 years ago
you dont put your thumbs through the weel as if you come off and hit a wall head on you have a very high chance of snapping your thumbs. and there is a method of hand placement for ease of shifting and to lower the chance that you will get the wrong gear.
not picking on you i think you are a good driver only saying what i see from experience on the track. sorry if i offended.
fluffyracist 3 years ago
Yeh, fair point. But i suspect its a bit of a wives tail the breaking fingers. Having a comfortable grip on the steering wheel is my first consideration but i will keep that in mind. Some other people have made similar comments and looking at in car footage of race car drivers it seems to be driver preferance
OZHCR32 3 years ago
is this car with HICAS ? and is it a GT-R or GT-S, still very very lucky though.
racer98 3 years ago
HICAS has been removed and it is a 1992 HCR32 GTSt, so rwd 2.0L with std RB20DET and bolt ons
OZHCR32 3 years ago
when possibile, get rid of the rubber bushings and get the solid mounts for the rear subframe. as well suspension do you have in it ? what sort of LSD is in it ? what sort of camber and toe are you running ?
racer98 3 years ago
It has a KAAZ 1.5 diff and Bilstein suspension in it. All bushes have been replaced with either new bushes or new arms for adjustment reasons
OZHCR32 3 years ago
what is the camber and toe settings ?
did you go solid bushings for the sub-frame ? and what LCA and RUCAS are you using ?
racer98 3 years ago
Camber is -3.5F, 1.75R, toe is 0F and 2R (in)I have Nismo replacement sub frame bushes with pineapples to adjust the cradle angle to help with power down. Cant do that with the soid alloy bushes. The cradle angle is more important. Std LCA with new nolathane and Noltec front upper arms and cusco castor and rear arms
OZHCR32 3 years ago
might not want to run so much camber on the frnt like that 1.5mm with 1mm in on the front for the toe and the same for the rear but 1.5mm only and 0 zero toe on the rear. with that said the rear suspension. as for the rear bushings, im talking about drilling out the rubber part and useing all soild cnc machined bushing that is alunumum.
racer98 3 years ago
Tyre wear is even and temps even accross tyre face. So camber is about right. Have tried a range of toe settings and i like how it is at present. Have had the car for 9 years so have tried many combinations.
Re cradle, understand what you are saying, but cant adjust the cradle angle using off the shelf components...so with the current arrangment there isnt excessive movement so dont see the need to engineer another solution. Traction is not an issue with the car
OZHCR32 3 years ago
I will just add...the reason for the accident was mostly oil leaking from the gearbox onto the underside of the car, inc the rear tyres
OZHCR32 3 years ago
fuking tops to that crash oh well at least you gave it shit my mate is way to pussy to touch the accelerator on the corners in his 32. ah have you stripped out all de interior seems a little slow when u gunned it

looks like a very powerful car. how much whp? and about how fast did you get up to on that straight?!
S14VH45 3 years ago
It has about 260rwkws, though i cant remember if if on the day i had the boost at 234rwkws or 260rwkws. The film/spray of oil from gearbox makes for poor traction and look like it has more power then it does. New Teins in the car and it is worlds better then the Bilsteins i removed. On the back straight i hit about 235-240km/h
OZHCR32 3 years ago
i see, looks pretty fast to me and must be awesome with the new suspension. 260kw seems to be a great power level for a balanced circuit car. i'm nearly done with my s14 250kw build (sr20, gt2876, 264/264) and i'll be quite happy if my car performs similarly to yours.

deanfromhell87 3 years ago
Firstly, Well done for getting out there! Looks like your pretty good from your other vids! Secondly, What Happened? Was there a bit of oil on the track or something? Looked so random but looks like you may have started your braking and hit some oil or something!
wadesta1986 3 years ago
It is pretty bumpy in the braking area, and the car didnt ride bumps too well at the best of times. But yeh, oil was the drama. Only it was my oil :( Gearbox was leaking fluid all over the underside of the car. Didnt help that I didnt pick up on the poor traction of earlier laps being a symptom of a bigger problem which was going to cause the car to swap ends at over 200km/h
OZHCR32 3 years ago
Yep, Oil will do it every time!! You did a fantastic job to semi hold it together at those speeds!! Oh well, the joys of racing I guess!! Not A Cheap Thing To Do!
wadesta1986 3 years ago
Not when small stuff results in expensive fixes :) In hindshight i should have caught onto the fact that the car was handling a bit different. But i suppose thats the difference between a hack club guy and a bloke who knows what he is doing :) I really marvel at the Pros and their ability to process all the info...what the car is doing, talk to crew etc etc and still race
OZHCR32 3 years ago
Lol. Expensive fixes are what teach us right from wrong. I guess now you know when something is up with the car in terms of funky handling. But I do agree with you about the pro drivers. I am a big motor racing fan and to see how the drivers are able to pin point a problem with their setup astounds me! But still, good on ya for getting out there and best of luck with it all.
wadesta1986 3 years ago
wow very random crash, did the rear wheels lock up on you on the bumps ay?
ArnZlozZ 3 years ago
hate these people ... all smart ass remarks on how u should drive and u should of done this and done that .. im just suprised on how randomly it happened .. good save tho able to drive it back .. good stuff mate
TeJai 3 years ago
lucky escape , looks like you hold the weel to tightly and how your thumbs sit if you have a head on you will snap both your thumbs hand is on the wrong side of the gear stick for 3rd to 4th drivving is a little avarage but all and all i think you did farkin well for what happened and especily at sandown mate put my AE86 in to a wall there did a great job to.
fluffyracist 3 years ago
are you an instructor? for starters, it is 4wdriving that you dont put your thumbs through the wheel. look at any race incar footage. secondly, holding the gearstick wrong!? wth?

Doesn't look like you could of done a whole lot to avoid this. Car looks like it can be a handful add oil on the tires and you got no hope. Good on ya for getting back out there. You are probably a whole lot better then 99.9% of drivers out there including me.

wow most of you guys are idiots! how could you think all skylines are awd? haha how can you comment on how messy the driving is when you dont even know what drivetrain the car is running? these engines come on boost like a lightbulb with big turbos, i gotta r32 with rb21 and a gt3040 its the same, bytheway dude awesome driving! good to see someone able to drive the car to its limits you didnt even panic when it spun and it looked like you were goin flat nanga i would sharted my pants!

what a horrible driver i totally disagree with the person before me, this guy was all over the friggin road way before even the crash!
ryanmbedard 3 years ago
I am a long way from perfect, if i thought i was i woudl never have posted this vid. Have to ask though, what do you mean by "all over the friggin road way before even the crash"? Can you single out a corner/s?
OZHCR32 3 years ago
yeah at about 10 seconds, 29 seconds, 45 seconds was just sad althought i'm not sure how fast you are going around these corners though but you seemed pretty unstable for those corners
ryanmbedard 3 years ago
Cheers for feedback. @10sec, car is a 260rwkws rwd 2L, so had some unexpected wheelspin in 3rd gear. Perhaps i should have realised something was wrong with traction then and there? @29&45 sec, using kerbs allow you to carry more corner speed, and @45 sec there is even concrete on the back of the kerb. You lose lots of time to other cars if you dont use the extra room it affords you on corner exit. Agree it looks messy riding over it though. Corner speed? Well slowest is 4,000rpm in 3rd gear
OZHCR32 3 years ago
What?! rwd? i thought that all skylines except the newer 2008 and up GTR were AWD, and 4k rpm in 3rd mahn you must be facking flying around those corners, lol
ryanmbedard 3 years ago
It is a GTSt, so is rwd. I am running between 235-260rwkws depending on boost through 235/40/17 rear tyres. So some wheelspin is expected, but not normal when tyres are warm and
