Damn I was going to do the same thing to an UltimaGTR... I was going to use a LS7 block and twin gt88-94 turbo's ... I might still build it... anyway here is some help on the tranny so you can pull more than 8psi... stick with Getrag but use the Getrag V160 or the better GetragV161... these both can be found in the Toyota Supra 93-2002 MKIV JZA80 Twin turbo cars... they can hold mass HP.. I have seen them hold 1500hp...

@chad23male You do know the ultima uses a transaxle? The getrag you mention is a traditional rwd gearbox. Transaxle's are far more rare. You're basically limited to audi, renault, porsche or ford designs.

There are new ones coming onto market now but they'yre in things like the nissan gtr so who knows where it's limits are?
