@vef444 It's a metaphor. He doesn't really believe that God exists. He is saying that the concept of God is a fairy tale, because the world is in such a shitty state, that IF God existed, the only conclusion is that God hates us all.

@lassehall you know, the question you just asked, is the most common question every atheist asks, and wer christians get to deal with this question alot of times. I'll tell you that all misery, pain, and agony, was caused by God's nemesis. God made mankind in his image, and to live in peace and perfection whitout sin, but mankind had betrayed God, and rather following God's Nemesis, so the world became cursed by sin, and the things you just mentionned, are the conciquences.

@lassehall Second part: God does allow these ''horrible'' things for a short period of time, because God's nemesis will soon face enternal destruction, and those who follow God's nemesis will join him. Christ himself will end all the evil and wickedness, and his kingdom wil reign on earth for a 1000 years, and nobody will ever taste death again. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

God's nemesis is the one to blame for this messed up world as we see it now. He betrayed God in the beginning, when he was still a high ranking entitiy of light, on God's right hand. After his downfall, he tempted mankind to betray God as well, but God offers us mercy for our betrayal, by becomming a man, and tasting death himself, to die for HIS creation on the cross.

@NZpower018 God is his own nemesis. If a perfect creator creates something, that creation is not only perfect, but also a part of the creator. If God created something that was not a piece of him, that would mean God was relinquishing power. It says in the Bible that if you go to the highest point of heaven you will find God there and if you go to the lowest point of hell you will still find God. Omnipresence. Not only is he found in his creations, his creations ARE God. Your argument is void.

@MrFlopz wrong, God pre-read my comments as I said God's Nemesis (Satan) was once God's right hand, and most high angel of all, but God gave his creation the CHOICE to turn against him or not, or else his creation would all fuction as robotic slaves, programmed to love their master.
I have a perfect example:
imagine a toy robo-dog on batteries, and a REAL dog. the robo-dog is programmed has no free wil and can't make a choice because it's a machine, hoewever, a real dog can.

If God is actually giving up control over the individual, what that basically means is that God is giving up power. Basically one thing that functions independently of God. How he managed to design an being with the capacity to make an imperfect decision in the first place is still a mystery.

@MrFlopz Yes, and no, basically people have their own decisions, to BELIEVE in a Creator and not, and if they believe in the creator, they also have the decision to follow the perfect way to God or not by choosing the right relegion. Life all depends on choices, and mostly everything are the concequences of our choices that we daily make. God didnt ''gave'' up his power, he just wants to be loved and worshipped by choice, and to be believed in by faith.

@NZpower018 I still think that if God was all powerful then anything he makes would be indistinguishable from God. If God is perfect and incorruptible why would his creation be fragile and malleable? You may say humans were pure at the moment of creation, but not to the extent that God is; people are corruptible. Yes, they have free will but a perfect being with freedom to chose will make perfect choices. God is autonomous yet does good. Where did this human tendency toward evil come from?

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.''Revelation 12:7. It says the Dragon (Lucifer) had even corrupted 1/3 from all the angels of God, because Lucifer became jalous and wanted to be like God. So sin came all to pas by Jaleousy.

@NZpower018 But if Lucifer is the root of all evil, the question hasn't changed. How did Lucifer gain this evil tendency? He is still a perfect creation of God. Where did his evil come from? Jealous? Unless God is a Jealous God this trait could not have just appeared out of thin air. And furthermore, how are these perfect angels so malleable and set astray so easily. I would think that if you let a perfect angel chose, he would chose good. Free will does not create a tendency toward evil.

@MrFlopz actually I admit that the question is hard to answer, since I knoweth not everything, nor does any christian, but I'll give it a go anyway. God himself, is pure, like a véry bright-white curtain, that has no single dark spot, neither will it ever have, for God himself said: ''I'm God, and there is NONE other then me'', which might prove the point that God's creation can't be 100% the same as their creator, like a pupil can't be the same as his teacher.
