  • What is the black box you have the ps3 connected to and all of the wires? Not sure how this helps me if nothing is said or explained.

  • @RejectedManiac that is only a hdmi matrix to connect pc,2 ps3 and blu ray all to my 2 tv and projector. You don t need it to record

  • @rxmako and how can i connect it with my xbox? with two hdmi and one usb 3.o cable ?

  • @QSBoraner Record from PS3 hdmi to Blackmagic intensity shuttle cable setting

Look that video just set xbox to 720p

  • @rxmako please send me all the links i need to install blackmagic on my pc

  • @QSBoraner look on video response there s a guy that show u that

If had problem let me know

  • So PS3 --> Switch --> BlackMagic. Now is the question how did you get picture on your TV? On BlackMagic do you have hdmi in and out??

    Thank you.

  • @ValdoBor there are 2 way

1 blackmagic had 1 hdmi input and 1 output. Use output to tv.

Using this way u must always play with pc on

2 use a simple hdmi splitter 1 input 2 output

    PS3>SPLITTER>1 output go on convertert>blacmagic

and 2 output go on tv

In this way u can play also without ur pc on

  • @rxmako Thank you for your answer. I'm going to record video from PS3. So if I understand right i could do it? I could play through HDMI on screen and record in same quality

  • @ValdoBor yes, if u check some of my video u can see that i do it.

Btw remember u can record 720p or 1080i but no 1080p from ps3 coz bmis record only 1080p 30fps but consoles use 1080p 60fps that it s no possible record

  • @rxmako thank you very much indeed!

  • @ValdoBor u r wellcome

  • figata x)

  • Does the HDMI-DVI convertor give send really full HD 1080p?

please provide me the link for this convertor. I wanna buy it

  • @Mohd1986s the converter can send 1080p signal but remember that bmis can record max 1080p 30 fps, consoles run art 1080p 60 fps

  • @rxmako does it record 1080 30fps because of the convertor or what?

please again can you send me the link of the convertor?

  • @Mohd1986s the converter is 1080p 60fps.

Blackmagic intensity shuttle can't record in 1080p 60fps

    ONLY 1080P 30FPS

PS3 OR XBOX WORKS ON 60FPS THAN NO RECORD

  • 1 Hdmi is digital video and digital audio

Split Hdmi to Dvi -d and Spdif is ==> bit . ly / zUhstr <== ???

  • can you send link to buy this Hdmi is digital video and digital audio

Split Hdmi to Dvi -d and Spdif...i cant find man. thanks.

  • @juvestruga2 that one that sell amazon will be ok

sorry i see your post just now

    youtube is go mad

  • "can buy"

  • brother where can i by this splitter?

  • Hey I was wondering, I'm thinking of getting a shuttle for livestreaming and since you have one if you could tell me what happens if you plug 2 outputs, one hdmi going to one tv and one component out going to a different tv? how does the Shuttle decide or can you manually decide from the program?

  • @TheOriginalCP9 i never use it for stream, some people said that it s no possible. Try to read some forum. Btw the bmis has an option that enable all output at same times. U can use output from hdmi , component and composite

  • @rxmako You can use it to stream. WoodysGamertag and Seananners uses the Black Magic Intensity and they stream. Thanks, thats what I need to know. Is there a similar thing for inputs? If for example I plug an Xbox through HDMI and a PS3 through component?

  • @TheOriginalCP9 like i said before i never stream and i don t know.

u can plug both but u must switch on bmis control pannel the input everytime u change consoles. The best way is use a hdmi switcher. 2 input 1 output plugged to bmis input.

  • I'm kind of loss with what's going on in the video (Yes I'm a noob). Is it instant/lag free on the pc? meaning what you see on your tv is that what you see on the PC or is there a slight delay?

  • @TheOriginalCP9 i don t have any delay. what i see on screen is wt i see on pc during record

  • @rxmako So you can play off the PC screen if you wanted?

  • It's not necessarily the HDMI Converter that's to blame, it could also be the cables that are degrading the signal a bit ...anything is possible with HDMI. In any case, I can confirm that your idea works and that the video quality is still a lot better as compared to an analog signal, so thanks for letting us know :)

  • @resumil u r wellcome XD

  • Thanks for the tip, rxmako, I tried the DVI+SPDIF method and it works. Anyway, I noticed that I lose some definition in the process :(

...the resulting video quality lies somewhere between "direct" HDMI and component (analog) video. This means the intermediary device is downconverting the digital signal a bit, but this was expected and it's still worth a go!

    My setup:

"Cisco" Cable box > "Cables Unlimited" DVI+Audio to HDMI Converter > "AVerTV" HD DVR Internal Capture Card > Windows7x64 PC

  • @resumil i don t ve ant downgrade maybe depends on different converter. i buy mine in HK by ebay

  • Hey thanks I Gave you a shout out and a link to your channel. Thanks again

  • @iNvRG u r wellcome XD

  • Check the iNvRG explanation.

He made the same thing that i do

  • Hi. Have a link for DVI + digital audio converter HDMI in ebay?

  • @andreymch there are a lot

send me a private message i will send you the link

  • He not to be rude but can you tell me what I need to buy so this will work you just gave vague directions.

  • @NexusARC send me a private message with ur computer specification and what u have and i tell u what u need.

  • @rxmako Nevermind I found out that it doesn't work on laptops, thanks for the quick response though, sigh, luckily I found something that is compatible with my computer though.

  • @NexusARC ur wellcome

  • Will the DVI+Audio to HDMI converters bypass HDCP even if they say they are HDCP compliant? I have found some that look just like yours except they say HDCP compliant and that usually means that they will retain HDCP. Did the one you buy say it was HDCP compliant? Thanks.

  • @MrSkinyfatboy Dude I want to know this as well because I have seen so many on the net but the manufactures keep saying that it still passes the HDCP which defeats it's purpose for most of us.

  • @iNvRG Yea, I think that this is a loop hole, even though they say HDCP compliant they must somehow accidently decrypt the signal. Anyway, I bought a DVI+Audio to HDMI converter and I'll confirm whether it works.

  • @MrSkinyfatboy Yea I think the manufacturers know it and they just won't talk about it lol What brand did you get and from where?

  • @iNvRG Well I'm getting the Unlimited Cables brand because someone else commented saying that one worked apart from rxmako saying he used a Manhattan one but I couldn't get that one. Since I'm having it shipped from the US and I'm in the pacific, I won't be able to get back to you on whether it works or not for maybe a week or two.

  • @MrSkinyfatboy let me know if u need anyhelp

  • @rxmako Thanks for offering help. I'll contact you if I have any problems.

  • @MrSkinyfatboy u r wellcome

  • @MrSkinyfatboy yes is hdcp compliant

  • Hello, it's possible to use just ps3----->(video)hdmi/dvi----->dvi converter to hdmi--->shutt (audio) ps3---->componant(white and red) ---->shuttle???

    not use the digital audio...

  • @Macthezazou yes i do the same

for audio if analog u can connect directly white n read audio into bmis and rec it

  • Comment removed

  • @rxmako Do you the the DIGITUS Multimedia DVI/Audio to HDMI Converter

does work for delete de hdcp?

Thank's for your response good job (=

  • a good way to record is using AVerMedia Game Capture HD which can record PS3 or Xbox games in 1080i HD quality without any lag while playing. The best thing about the unit is that it does not require a PC. It will record directly to an attached USB HDD and also comes with universal 3-1 cable for PS3, XBOX, and Wii

  • @khn51583 yes but the quality compare to bmis is worse

    no offense just the true.

look my video and u will see the difference

  • Uhm. Sorry I'm not to good at this stuff. He converts the DVI to HDMI right? couldn't you just have a straight HDMI Cable? or was it not an HDMI Cable? Sorry.

  • @JustifyGravity 1 I convert the dvi to hdmi with and hdmi to dvi cable. 2 U can use hdmi cable converted in other hdmi in example two. 3 U can t go directly to record hdmi coz hdmi had HDCP (copy protection)

  • @rxmako Thanks for the help man.

  • @JustifyGravity U r wellcome

  • @rxmako RX, If you would finally talk to me (in Crysis menu or BF3, if you add BugsterDesign) about this thing would help me a lot...

  • @BugsterDesign i wnt help u but i can speak english so well. Better if u explain me wt u need before and i can help u

  • @rxmako I just need some information about it, and play with you ofcourse ;)

  • @rxmako All of the DVI /hdmi Converter work?

  • @Macthezazou all brand that i tried works

buy it on amazon the cheap one to try and will work

  • @rxmako i'm swiss and there is not this in french amazone --'

  • @Macthezazou i will send you private message

  • Whats the song?

  • @Helix7212 Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made by Yuuka Saegusa

  • I need a spliter to lose HDCP?

  • @prisonbreak123100 no, u need a converter dvi to hdmi

  • Which equipment did you use to convert HDMI to DVI + AUDIO and to convert it back? On the video I can only see the one which converts back to HDMI. Additionally, could you tell their brands/models? Because I don't know if any converter can do this process. As of DVI can carry HDCP, I guess that some converters can try to keep HDCP and subsequently leading the video capture to fail.

  • @gugabt any brand will work

  • @rxmako

    @gugabt

No, it's not, that's why gugabt asked a good question...

He wanted to know what you used, since 1) only a few bypass the hdcp (and likely they are very hard to find, as the seller probably gets a dmca notice when "they" find out) and 2) you said you don't understand why it worked and that you are lucky.

A bit on the contrary side to claim it works on "any brand".

gugabt, you are probably better off buying a hdcp stripper in terms of costs, equipment, setup and reliability.

  • @casio1987vd i ve find 3 way to do same things

I had helped also other people that ve buy different brand and it works

I can t explain why but it works

If you wnt i can show u on skype wt happen if i try to record blu ray original disc

I use it just to record game but works also for movie

My brand is manhattan dvi converter

Matsushita 3 in 1 hdmi converter u can find it on ebay

and i can record also with a 3D box converter

I dunno why but it works

  • @rxmako

It works, because they stream decrypted hdcp content and it's illegal in the usa afaik; they sent out dmcas and subpoenas to any seller or manufacture, because it's against the rules of getting the hdcp license. If you want more information, you can participate us at forum[DOT]videohelp[DOT]com/threads/334145-HDCP-strippers.

But one can't be sure if a hdmi-dvi converter works for hdcp, because of the specs listed are unclear regarding hdcp. You are lucky, because they do it,but many wont

  • @gugabt the one the amazon usa sell. It works

I know the rules about hdcp

The point s that who buy a hdmi recorder wnt records thruu hdmi

I don t get anykind of money to explain people that there s a way.

    Just that

  • @gugabt

How much did pay for everything to get it work (without the capture box, pc, ps3 and display ofcourse)? It seems like a pricey workaround. I also wonder how many frames are dropped during this whole path. How many fps do you register in your capture software? Thanks again :-)

  • @casio1987vd 1- 30 euro for dvi to hdmi converter + hdmi to dvi cable 10 euro + 1 hdmi cable 10 euro= 50

    2 hdmi converter 3 in 1 100 euro. + 2 hdmi cable 20 = 120 euro

I record in 720p 59,94fps from ps3 without frame drops (look my videos -.-)

The program is media express that u get when buy bmis.

Render by vegas on 720p 59,94fps to get a good quality

  • @rxmako

Thanks for the price inquiry. For 2/3 that money a capture card exists that can do it all standalone without framedrops @60fps capture ;-)

Recording on predefined fps in software != actual fps rate input.

Your videos are no prove of framedrops:

    1) I can't see the fps for all times given (aka real time fps, no overlay in your videos)

    2) Youtube caps to 30 fps

So for both points, that butterfly doesn't fly ;-)

I know enough though, thanks for sharing. I stick with the other workaround ;-)

  • @casio1987vd that is why i tell u to add me on skype and i will show u my desktop during recording

btw 59,94 fps is the output of ps3 that must be 60 but is 59,94.

Np i don t sell anything, all it s free to do wt they wnt XD

  • @rxmako

    I believe you dude :-)

I was just curious how many money needs to be spent for that stupid hdcp, I hate hdcp :-(

Just wanted to know how much you spent so I can compare all the options ^^

  • @casio1987vd u r wellcome XD

  • @rxmako

    Thanks :-)

Ohh and keep up the nice quality gameplay footage, I really like them! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • It can sometimes be 59,94 because it is the NTSC standard, despite these things are now digital and all that, I guess they still keep these patterns most of the times. The real thing is, these consoles should not have HDCP enabled while in "game mode", they are worring too much about the piracy of a "silly gameplay content". What do they have to do with this? I guess the only moment that HDCP on these consoles should be permitted is when playing movies or some "pay-per-view" content.

  • Damn! It works flawlessly... you're the Man.

    (VAIO S i7 3.5GHz 8GB SSD 512GB, BMSI, Cable Unlimited DVI+Audio to HDMI Conv)

  • @eskwadrat i m happy that worked XD

  • @tarithil u can find it on ebayvsearch hdmi 3 in 1 converter

Nothing comes up. Are you talking about US eBay or some asian one?

  • Comment removed

  • @eskwadrat lol it s work

  • @rxmako works with your non-DRM games. Try to make same thing with any genuine disk Blu-Ray (not ripped) movie played from PS3 and let me know.

  • @eskwadrat ok i ll do

i can record blu ray in 1080p 24hfps

with same sistem i ll do this week

I don t get anymoney to help people that wnt record his gameplay.

I just find this option and it works

    that s it

  • @rxmako Great, thanks. OK, could you do a favor and rnu the final ultimate test which would be to run any (free) movie on PS3 using Vudu service and let me know if you can record it as well? I appreciate your reply.

  • @rxmako Tomorrow i'll invite you @ BF3, so you can explain me where and how i can buy it and how it works, cause with voice its easyer ;-)

  • Can I record HD files recorded on my PC using component or HDMI out (from PC card) to the shuttle as component or HDMI in? OR, can I transfer or PLAY my HD files and output them via HDMI or component from the shuttle into itself to caputre - or just loop it out?

  • @ReturnoftheBrotha u can record from pc to shuttle component (for hdmi u need a dvi to hdmi converter)

2 u can play during record, but u can t copy bmis output in loop

  • @rxmako: So let's say I wanted to do component out from the shuttle and then do component in to same shuttle and record - is that possible? What recording codecs are there?

  • @ReturnoftheBrotha u can t do it

  • Hi does this record from HDMI, if u input your cable/Sat box in the HDMI input will u be able to record your HD TV program

  • @KozKreole i can record also blu ray movie in 1080p 24hz

but i don t do it

  • @rxmako

The option 2 you gave me, the option that you stated you use... can you give a little more details please thanks, I just hate to return this item... really appreciate your help.

I went out and bought US3 PCI card and installed in my PC, got all the software install, but I just can't seems to see any video onto my PC (using the Media Express)

  • @KozKreole i need more details to help you.

    1 pc recognize bmis?

    3 how u connect it hdmi ?

4 u buy it that one that have hdmi in and out? it will work fine

5 u update usb 3.0 firmware and driver?

6 wt kind of pc u r using?

  • @rxmako

1- Yes the the PC recognised the 'BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle'

2- Nothing load on the PC, I'm using HDMI (from my digibox to Input on the 'Intensity Shuttle' and HDMI out to TV

    3- See 2

4- That's the one I got, the new 'Window version' with HDMI input and Output

5- I've been searching for that, I search on BlackMagic webpage but to no avail (Can you help with a Link)

6- A custom made, with DDR 8GB 1GB graphic Card

    Thanks

  • @KozKreole but u record directly connecting from sat tv to bmis with hdmi???

u need a dvi to hdmi converter or in second case that component, dvi, hdmi convert to hdmi

  • @rxmako

  • @iaanBast95 nooooooo

    XD

  • Why thank you sir

  • @MLGProDavid u r wellcome

  • Hi What is the brand of that adapter you are using?

  • @MLGProDavid manhattan btw brand doesn t matter every dvi to hdmi converter will work

  • it has nothing to do with hdcp, just put the res to 720p

    by the way, great music.

just kidding how can someone listen to this f music

  • @iaanBast95 o.o

  • @iaanBast95 Its catchy...

  • I don't understand

Split Hdmi to Dvi -d and Spdif and HDCP will be lost

Use a converter called DVI + digital audio converter HDMI

  • @N4RVS hdmi is digital video and audio with hdcp (copy protection),

dvi is digital video without hdcp. If u separate video from hdmi to dvi the copy protection will be lost and u will be able to copy video from hdmi.

Remember that you need a dvi to hdmi converter.

    That s it

  • i liek musci

  • @Harrex1 thx

  • Mi potresti dire marca e modello del convertitore 3 formati del metodo 2 ? Grazie

  • @grs310 lo trovi su ebay si chiama

    convertitore hdmi 3 in 1

lo vende un italiano sui 100

  • @rxmako

  • @rxmako

  • @grs310 ok fammi sapere

  • @rxmako

    Fuziona funziona

    Ciao

  • Ovviamente acquisisco in Mjpeg...

  • @grs310 ok rimango in attesa

  • i use the HDMI who came with my Xbox 360

so i wondering if it gonna work

  • @AutomatikCiSZA will be the same

  • Does option nr 1 still works, planing to buy one! Is the HDCP truly lost?

Do you have a HDMI - DVI cable from ps3 to the "box"?

And what song is it? :)

    Thank you mate!

  • @TheSilverStar17 1 yes still works 2 yes i have 2 this song is one of the opening theme of detective conan anime

  • @MrDjtivoli check

    1 media express preference is 720p 59,94fps

2 bmis control pannel video set on hdmi input

    3 ps3 or xbox set on 720p 59,94

    and let me know

  • @rxmako ohh yea it was set to PAL ty!

  • @MrDjtivoli u r wellcome XD

  • so you can loose the hdcp signal through an hdmi switcher box?
