The Department of Health apparently is defying a subpoena from the court to release Obama's original birth certificate. Corruption at its best. Wait until the judge hears about their refusal. I believe Obama was born in Kenya, because he said so himself. The "alleged birth certificate" had been examined by photo experts and its a FAKE. It show obvious evidence it was photoshopped. Besides Obama himself, before the controversy, said his homeland is Kenya!!

Europe has entirely given in to that way of life and they're doing great (I hear Greece and Spain are wonderful this time of year)... The vast majority of Americans DO NOT "like" the EPA OR the public education system, in general, and they see the need for major changes in Medicare, Medicaid, social security. National highways are actually the only intended, original responsibility of the federal gov.

@TheSnoopy1750 The FCC and EPA are a bad joke that we all pay for. The basic functions of the EPA can be handled by states without green freaks imposing the "extras". The FCC is like a comms labor union nightmare. The CDC and FAA are necessary, but ultimately bloated bureaucracies that have drastically overreached in their purpose. Unfortunately, most wonderful agencies and programs these days have the adverse effect of strangling the life out of businesses through regulation.

Let's get rid of the FDIC - I assume you don't keep money in the bank. How about the SEC? Who needs regulations that prevent companies from fraudulent financial reporting like Worldcom and Enron. How about no financial regulation? That way we can have banks speculate recklessly again as they did under Bush's watch.

You're right! How about MORE regulation? People wonder why so many businesses are going overseas. It's not that difficult to figure out. Oppressive regulation + the highest corporate taxes in the world = mass exodus of industry.

Companies like Hewlett Packard ship jobs overseas as they can find well-educated tech workers at 1/5 the price. Lowering U.S. tax rates to 25% from 35% can't even come close to offsetting that massive salary difference.
Maybe you should take advantage of the public school system - you obviously could use it.

Reagan raised taxes after his first year and HW Bush raised taxes as they knew it was necessary. In addition, Greenspan and Reagan econ advisors Bartlett and Stockman say the Bush taxes must expire.
Deregulation helps the Koch Brothers, not the U.S.

@TheSnoopy1750 The Bush tax cuts resulted in year after year increases in federal revenue to the treasury from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, 5 million jobs were created between 2003-06. The gdp, gross private domestic investment, and fixed investment rates all increased immediately following. Accordingly, allowing the cuts to expire would reduce work incentives and raise taxes on millions of families and small businesses, thereby further harming the economy and minimizing any new revenues.

It’s easy to assume that a preceding event is the cause of a succeeding event simply because they occurred in that order. It’s called a false cause fallacy.

@TheSnoopy1750 President Reagan was forced to raise payroll taxes due to a crisis in social security and was very reluctant to do so. He had to fight and negotiate with a Democrat-controlled congress every step of the way. Just because people advocate cutting taxes does not mean they do not also see the need to raise taxes given the appropriate circumstances. Liberals on the other hand NEVER want to cut taxes… You only want to satisfy your addiction to spend.

In contrast, there’s no similar correlation between President Clinton’s economic policies of raising taxes and the strong economy at the time he was in office.

Just the opposite, our government has a very tangible SPENDING issue which is inseparably tied to handouts.
