@5647squirrel Honestly I have no experience with that mask but I have seen it a few times at my local field. For 40 bucks looks like you can't go wrong. It has a thermal lens, decent foam and ears. But for about 13 more dollars you could pick up a JT Spectra Flex 8 Thermal Goggle and the foam in that mask is worth the money just by itself :D -Russell
@SS4016 I'm a ProFlex guy but the Save Phace is definitely one of the safest masks in paintball. If you get blasted in the face or forehead you won't feel a thing. They make a great, honest product :) -Russell

I play woodsball. I bought a BT edition Invert Avatar mask at a bass pro shop so I would have a full camo set up and I absolutely love the mask. It is comfortable, It has never fogged up on me, and it just looks cool In my opinion.
Hey guys I've hot a question that needs to be answered ASAP please. Is it ok to have colorful mask or not because you might get seen easy?my top part of my mask is grey and the mouth piece or whatever you want to call it is orange is that ok??????
@MysteryName98 Totally - we wear Black & Lime Green masks. Sure, someone might be able to see you a bit better, but typically, if they can see the color of your mask, they're going to see the movement from your body as you approach. If someone was using magnification/optics (a scope or binocs) to spot you, then yes, a bright color will give you away, but the chances of that happening in paintball are very slim -Ethan
@HustlePaintball I have a spectra 260 Proshield thermal mask thats all black, I play woodball at night and in the day. I was wondering what kind of paint I should use on my mask when I decide on a pattern and what colors. Any suggestions?

hey i live in colorado and i have two questions one do you guys like have a shop and if you do please tell me two do you know of any close cheap places to paintball near commerce city/denver area
@werepire475 Yes we do have a shop, our retail location is in Broomfield right by Flatirons Crossing mall. As for fields check out Blitz Paintball, or Paintball Adventures! Let me know if you have any other questions!
is there a mask that i can wear my glasses in because my cheap extreme rage mask pushes my glasses up and my mask will fall off? what mask do u recomend that i can where glasses in????????
@jasmith97 JT Spectra Series masks have the ability to cut the side foam off for use with glasses, V-Force masks already have cut out areas for glasses. I personally use a JT Spectra Proflex and I wear glasses when I play.
@Cucooon i4's, they are not for me because the mask is far to small for me to be comfortable wearing it, but it is both high quality AND comfortable. The latter I cannot say is the same for the e-vents (haters are gonna hate this opinion) :)
@Cr3ativeNam3 The Angel Eyes is yet to be released. The Profit and the i4 are very similar in their low profile shape and quick lens change systems. Both are great masks and perform very similar, I would say that your choice will be based mainly on looks.
@RADBMX384 I would recommend many other masks before the axis pro, I used one for a good amount of time and not only does the lens seem to distort my vision, but it is not the most comfortable mask in the world. Not to mention I unfortunately got kicked in the face and the part of the goggles where the foam sticks to has a sharp edge that scarred up the bridge of my nose. I am not a fan of anything Axis pro.
@protoredzDYNASTY The V-Force Vantage blows the JT Carnivore out of the water, there's no question about that! It's much more comfortable and has higher fog resistance!
is there any masks that would make it easier to aim down iron sights with? i bought a tippmann project salvo but it's difficult to look down the sights with the mask i have because the stock gets in the way.
@bayloshk A Spectra ProFlex has a soft face, would would allow you to get closer, but quite honestly, using your iron sights in paintball is pretty challenging - most people opt for a sight riser and a red dot so that it's easier to see through.
@imadaka It's pretty good, but the visibility isn't that great. It's still low profile and doesn't fog much because the foam goes around your eyes and keeps your nose away from the lens.
@MMAman11 It is really up to you, the i4 and the E-vent are on the same level in terms of performance, they just provide a slightly different style. I myself would choose the E-Vent over the i4, though the i4 is slightly more comfortable, I do not like how small it is.
@333notredame1 Speedball is generally more expensive, and a great marker that will last you a long time and is great for people just getting into speedball is the Planet Eclipse Etek 3.
hey, im rockn a pro vantage right now, but my b day is coming up. do you think I should get a new mask? or a carbon fiber tank? (im using a aluminum Hpa). If a mask what should i go for? dye I4s seem a little to small for my head..
@AwesomePossumFilmzz For a mask I would say the tried and true JT Proflex, or a V-Force Grill, but if you don;t have fogging issues with your vantage pro at the moment, I would say get the tank.
@WundahfulWorld Unfortunately because masks are there to protect your face there aren't really any that allow you to look down the lines of your marker. You would need to get a riser rail and a red dot. Let me know if you have any other questions!
plz respond im looking into buying a mask should i get the invert avatars or jt flex 8 fullcoverage and buy the way im looking for comfort and does the invert avatars have god ear protection
I'm loking to get a new mask and I'm deciding between a JT Flex 8, an Invert Avatar, and the V Force Pro Vantage. All have been mentioned in the video. My main concern is fog. I will be playing both indoors and out and i'm not quite sure which one would be best. I need some help! Thanks!
@Genswitch For a good, flexible mask, it's the JT Spectra ProFlex all the way. It coves all of your chin and a bit of your throat, and is VERY comfortable. We'll have a video on it very soon!
so i was deciding between the i4's or the e-vents then i went to a nppl tournament and saw what they were wearing and i saw the invert avatar which i kinda liked i dont know between the 3 which to pick what do u think i currently wear the jt reaper because it fits around glasses what do u think?
@s1ck3stninja The Avatar is very similar to the E-vents there's not going to be a huge difference there. I personally use the tried and true JT Proflex, I;ve tried many other masks including the i4, and I always go back to it.
i have the flex 8 full coverage but was thinking of switching to the i4.. would that be a good idea? ive never take a headshot without the full coverage, but im not afraid too
@chris01659 The i4 is going to be a huge difference from what you are used to. But it is a great mask, if you want to do it, go for it! Just remember not only will your head not be covered, but your forehead and a lot of the sides of your face won;t be either. The i4 is one of the smallest masks on the market.
@gotloveforpaintball yes, all masks are one size fits all. if it is still a little loose, one thing that you can do to keep it on is have him put on a backwards hat and have the strap rest just above the bill; or you can have him wear a bandanna around his head.
I want a full helmet mask, so seems JT is the best bet. I just got a Carnivore, but it will not work with my eyeglasses, and it is too wide at the cheek for the buttstock of my rifle. If I pay the extra money for a Flex 8, will it over glasses and is it tighter in the face so I can should a rifle and still look down the scope?
@PriapismSD Unfortunately, with paintball, it is really hard to get down on scopes due to the masks. The only one that I have seen that is rather successful at it, is the Dye i4 just because it is a very thin mask. But on the plus side you would be able to have glasses under the Flex 8.
one time i got clipped in the arm and i yelled im out and waved to my shooter and i went to pick up my pods and i got bonus balled in the back of the headtwice
Hi, I wana buy a mask and im looking at JT Spectra Flex 8 Full head(Really want a full head) and the JT Elite full head. I can get the Elite for 50$ and the Spectra for 100$, but will need another 30$ to get thermal lens for Elite. So is it worth buying the Elite when i can get Spectra(which is better) for another 20$?
@777Glucose The Flex 8 full cover is a great mask for a great price when you are looking for a full cover mask. Hard to beat no matter what mask you compare it to.
@GarrettGetsHigh420 The Vantage Pro offers good protection for an affordable price and is well made. If you need some additional information you should check out our video on the V force Vantage Pro.
if your playing speedball it doesnt really matter, because the games are so fast, but if your playing woodsball longer games dual pane is the way to go. hands down.
@Tancrad I totally agree about long woodsball games, but speedball, I think it's just as necessary, since they ARE so quick, usually you're running fast, breathing hard, moving quickly and aggressively - Let's be honest, anytime your mask fogs, if you're camping in the woods or playing hardcore X-Ball, it sucks. Dual-pane/Non-fog all the way! :)
the dye i4 pro.. is the black bottom part flexible? I want to buy it for airsoft as I want to be able to look down my sites wilts pressing my cheek area against the stock for good aim... any thoughts?
I have a fairly large head and I've been looking for a mask that fits me better,(my hat size is about 8 1/4 to give you an idea) and I was wondering if there's any decent looking larger size masks out there (not just one-size-fits-all). I've been checking lots of reviews for different masks and so far I can't seem to find any that are specifically larger than most. Any help would be great, thanks!
@Mobius49 The JT Flex 8 is a larger sized mask that should fit you well - I would suggest going to a local paintball store and trying on all the different masks to find one that fits you the best.
Can sunvizors be put on ANY mask? if not, can you please reccomend a good mask with a sunzizor? I tried my local shop and none of the masks on display had vizors atall. And if they can be put on; how do i do it?
@ThePaintballGamer Not on any mask no, mast high end masks do not come with one, however the V-Force Grill and Profiler both come with visors. Installing them is as simple as popping in tabs in the correct places.
@Doom3guy1994 The Grill is a great mask and will probably help you out a little, but to really fix the problem you're going to want to get a riser rail.
@MGOFadeToBlack A JT mask or a V-Force mask are going to be the best for their prices, a thermal lens is a dual pane lens. - Keep watching the vids for more info on thermal, thermo-cured, and single pane lenses.
So what I'm hearing is that the grillz will not fog at all except for very extreme reasons? I have had a dye i3 an it never fogged and was great to breathe in. I was able to run a lot and never feel out of breath mire than usual, would the vforce grillz be the same would it have enough ventilation? Thanks
hi, i have the vforce profiler and it is in bright red, and i play woodsball and it gets me shot alot coz i stand out more :/ i was wondering, if i painted the red parts of the mask with permanent paints in black or in a camo pattern would it stay on and not rub or chip off and not affect the mask ??
@xIPierceIx It wouldn't affect the mask at all - depending on the quality of paint, and if you seal it, eventually it will wear off, but all you'll have to do is paint it again. I think it goes without saying, but be sure to remove the lens before you paint it.
@HustlePaintball ok thanks, dont worry il mask off all the areas that dont need doing and i will take all parts off but thanks, hopefully now i wont get hit in the head as much :D
@ThisGuysVids the ones behind the i4s ( the black and blue with the yellow lens or HD lens) are called vforce grills ,,, an the other mask with white frames are the proto pro axis
@UnbalancedGamers We are very much a legitimate site, we have been around for nearly 4 years and continue to provide some of the best customer support in the industry. Give us a call if you have any questions.
@ChinchillaSniper The invert 20/20 is a surprisingly comfortable non-fog mask, however unless you live in extreme conditions and need the included mask fan, I would go with something like a JT Flex-8 or V-Froce Profiler at that price.
whats a good low cost thermal lens goggle, every thing costs alot where i am.
I'm thinking the empire helix thermal or cylus or what ever it's called. it's 45$ canadian at my local proshop and shipping ruins any good online prices
@NewfiePaintballer It's got a great price on it for a thermal mask, but you may find after prolonged use that it gets highly uncomfortable, honestly I would save up and get something that is not only a thermal lens, but will be comfortable at the end of a long day.
@Terminater221 Any of the Proto Switch masks are of great quality (I own a Proto Switch Axis Pro myself) You do not have to replace the lens if you get a direct hit, though my chrome lens has a few scratches on it from them
Hey, im just starting out on paintball and i wanna get something good n' cheap to start with. Unfortunatly i heard that a V - Force pro vantage is a good start, but my local paintball store does not hold it. whats a good alternative?
@Etoinks One alternative is us, we have the Vantage Pro in stock and I guarantee you we sell it at a lower price than your local store, for two, give us a call at 877.298.8188 and we will be happy to speak with you personally and find a mask that suits your needs.
@wharris66 It all depends on preference, the Grill is a little larger and the Axis Pro is a little smaller and tighter to the face. If you have watched any videos where Trevor is in them he personally uses the Axis Pro Enigma and loves it, but they are both killer masks!
in mi opinion the best mask for speedball is the vforce grill it ts confterble als has a great bounce, only problem is if you get hit in the front of the face it hits you in the mouth.
savephace is really cool but really hard if you get hit anywhere it is a sure splat
@BoneChillinMusic Single pane, means there is only one pane to the lens, most lenses like that carry an anti-fog coating and the anti-fog rating. However Vforce uses a patented thermo-curing technology that makes their single pane lenses non-fog.
All four videos were excellent, thanks for the help. Also, one question. With dual pane lenses, does that mean you can't accidentally rub any anti-fog stuff off because it's between the lenses? Obviously I wouldn't use windex on it either way, but just curious if it will wear off over time or if they non-fog stuff lasts forever.
@JDMislife08 Anything by Save Phace, or a V-Force mask that is not the armor should do well, and always remember that you can cut out a portion of the foam to accommodate your glasses.
What is a mask with good forehead protection without a visor? I don't want a full protection mask, and I don't like to wear rags or hats or anything. The Invert Avatar looks like a winner, but are there others?
have you ever used a kingsman spyder highlite mask? im looking into getting a new one and dont know about this one cause there arent any reviews

rockonmyfriend 1 year ago
if your playing speedball it doesnt really matter, because the games are so fast, but if your playing woodsball longer games dual pane is the way to go. hands down.
Tancrad 1 year ago
@Tancrad I totally agree about long woodsball games, but speedball, I think it's just as necessary, since they ARE so quick, usually you're running fast, breathing hard, moving quickly and aggressively - Let's be honest, anytime your mask fogs, if you're camping in the woods or playing hardcore X-Ball, it sucks. Dual-pane/Non-fog all the way! :)

the dye i4 pro.. is the black bottom part flexible? I want to buy it for airsoft as I want to be able to look down my sites wilts pressing my cheek area against the stock for good aim... any thoughts?
jaketibor 1 year ago
@jaketibor The bottom part is somewhat flexible, it is a very small mask that hugs the face so it should do a good job.

@jaketibor buy the jt proflex

is the JT Carnivor Mask a non fog or an anti fog mask please reply
superassassin47 1 year ago
@superassassin47 It comes with a single pane lens (anti-fog) but you can upgrade it to a thermal or dual pane lens (non-fog).
HustlePaintball 1 year ago

I have a fairly large head and I've been looking for a mask that fits me better,(my hat size is about 8 1/4 to give you an idea) and I was wondering if there's any decent looking larger size masks out there (not just one-size-fits-all). I've been checking lots of reviews for different masks and so far I can't seem to find any that are specifically larger than most. Any help would be great, thanks!
Mobius49 1 year ago
@Mobius49 The JT Flex 8 is a larger sized mask that should fit you well - I would suggest going to a local paintball store and trying on all the different masks to find one that fits you the best.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
Can sunvizors be put on ANY mask? if not, can you please reccomend a good mask with a sunzizor? I tried my local shop and none of the masks on display had vizors atall. And if they can be put on; how do i do it?
ThePaintballGamer 1 year ago
@ThePaintballGamer Not on any mask no, mast high end masks do not come with one, however the V-Force Grill and Profiler both come with visors. Installing them is as simple as popping in tabs in the correct places.

I am a woodsballer.
I have a red dot on my gun and when I try to aim down the sight, I can't see the red dot because of my mask keeps hitting my stock.
I want to get the v force grills
Are they well to aim down the sight of a marker with a stock?
Doom3guy1994 1 year ago
@Doom3guy1994 The Grill is a great mask and will probably help you out a little, but to really fix the problem you're going to want to get a riser rail.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
Hmm im a new player and i want some thing thats comfertable and doesnt fog what do you suggest? And whats thermal lens?
MGOFadeToBlack 1 year ago
@MGOFadeToBlack A JT mask or a V-Force mask are going to be the best for their prices, a thermal lens is a dual pane lens. - Keep watching the vids for more info on thermal, thermo-cured, and single pane lenses.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
What do you suggest? The JT Flex 8 or Invert Avatar?
YoDaddy513 1 year ago
@YoDaddy513 The JT Flex 8 by far - it's way more comfortable and performs better.

Does the vforce grillz have a piece of foam back by the ears? Thanks
Captainventana117 1 year ago
@Captainventana117 No it does not.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
So what I'm hearing is that the grillz will not fog at all except for very extreme reasons? I have had a dye i3 an it never fogged and was great to breathe in. I was able to run a lot and never feel out of breath mire than usual, would the vforce grillz be the same would it have enough ventilation? Thanks
Captainventana117 1 year ago
@Captainventana117 The Grill has very simillar performance to the i3, because of its design it may actually be a little more breathable.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
hi, i have the vforce profiler and it is in bright red, and i play woodsball and it gets me shot alot coz i stand out more :/ i was wondering, if i painted the red parts of the mask with permanent paints in black or in a camo pattern would it stay on and not rub or chip off and not affect the mask ??
thanks
xIPierceIx 1 year ago
@xIPierceIx It wouldn't affect the mask at all - depending on the quality of paint, and if you seal it, eventually it will wear off, but all you'll have to do is paint it again. I think it goes without saying, but be sure to remove the lens before you paint it.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
@HustlePaintball ok thanks, dont worry il mask off all the areas that dont need doing and i will take all parts off but thanks, hopefully now i wont get hit in the head as much :D
thanks again

@ThisGuysVids Which one? In this 4 part video series it clearly states the names of all the masks.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
@ThisGuysVids the ones behind the i4s ( the black and blue with the yellow lens or HD lens) are called vforce grills ,,, an the other mask with white frames are the proto pro axis

how is the inver 20/20
ChinchillaSniper 1 year ago
@ChinchillaSniper The invert 20/20 is a surprisingly comfortable non-fog mask, however unless you live in extreme conditions and need the included mask fan, I would go with something like a JT Flex-8 or V-Froce Profiler at that price.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
whats a good low cost thermal lens goggle, every thing costs alot where i am.
I'm thinking the empire helix thermal or cylus or what ever it's called. it's 45$ canadian at my local proshop and shipping ruins any good online prices
NewfiePaintballer 1 year ago
@NewfiePaintballer It's got a great price on it for a thermal mask, but you may find after prolonged use that it gets highly uncomfortable, honestly I would save up and get something that is not only a thermal lens, but will be comfortable at the end of a long day.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
@Terminater221 Any of the Proto Switch masks are of great quality (I own a Proto Switch Axis Pro myself) You do not have to replace the lens if you get a direct hit, though my chrome lens has a few scratches on it from them

i barly started going paintballing and i dont now what kinda cheap mask i should get and is an alpha black a good first gun
guafcb 1 year ago
@guafcb I would go with the V-Force profiler for a first mask, it's one of the best in its price range. The Alpha Black is a great first marker.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
Hey, im just starting out on paintball and i wanna get something good n' cheap to start with. Unfortunatly i heard that a V - Force pro vantage is a good start, but my local paintball store does not hold it. whats a good alternative?
Etoinks 1 year ago
@Etoinks One alternative is us, we have the Vantage Pro in stock and I guarantee you we sell it at a lower price than your local store, for two, give us a call at 877.298.8188 and we will be happy to speak with you personally and find a mask that suits your needs.

i cant decide between the white v-force grills or the enigma port axis pro. help me out please! thanks!
wharris66 1 year ago
@wharris66 It all depends on preference, the Grill is a little larger and the Axis Pro is a little smaller and tighter to the face. If you have watched any videos where Trevor is in them he personally uses the Axis Pro Enigma and loves it, but they are both killer masks!

Is the v-force-vantage-pro-paintball-mask- any good?
bballerx41 1 year ago
@bballerx41 Yes, it is by far one of the best masks in its price range, you won't go wrong with it!
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
in mi opinion the best mask for speedball is the vforce grill it ts confterble als has a great bounce, only problem is if you get hit in the front of the face it hits you in the mouth.
savephace is really cool but really hard if you get hit anywhere it is a sure splat
baldomero101 1 year ago
i put a THIN coating of veggie or dish soap on my lenses before i play. it works perfectly.
PaintballerPBful 1 year ago
what does single paint mean?
BoneChillinMusic 1 year ago
@BoneChillinMusic Single pane, means there is only one pane to the lens, most lenses like that carry an anti-fog coating and the anti-fog rating. However Vforce uses a patented thermo-curing technology that makes their single pane lenses non-fog.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
@HustlePaintball Thanks!
BoneChillinMusic 1 year ago
All four videos were excellent, thanks for the help. Also, one question. With dual pane lenses, does that mean you can't accidentally rub any anti-fog stuff off because it's between the lenses? Obviously I wouldn't use windex on it either way, but just curious if it will wear off over time or if they non-fog stuff lasts forever.
JoelTGM 1 year ago
i wear glasses, which is the better mask then a vforce armor mask for glasses?
JDMislife08 1 year ago
@JDMislife08 Anything by Save Phace, or a V-Force mask that is not the armor should do well, and always remember that you can cut out a portion of the foam to accommodate your glasses.
HustlePaintball 1 year ago
@HustlePaintball save phave ONLY for speedball. Fogs VERY VERY bad in woods. JT works good for me
xiaogunman 1 year ago
What is a mask with good forehead protection without a visor? I don't want a full protection mask, and I don't like to wear rags or hats or anything. The Invert Avatar looks like a winner, but are there others?

@trxgamma Save Phace masks are always a great choice
