@xfilez88 Look where they (westeners) are? Brother, the Westerners are better than us (the so-called Muslim Ummah) in many ways. They are disciplined, just, humane, orderly unlike us! The fact is we (the contemporary Mulsims) are intellectually backward. We are lagging behind in very field of science so naturally we are lagging behind in Islamic Science also. @guruebook True, to some extent. But enforcing discipline is just as important as being disciplined. You make a good point though. I think it proves one thing that you cannot have discipline if there is no one to enforce it. I agree the people in the West or developed countries will become in-disciplined, if their police, judiciary and the government become inept.

Fuqaha never said that their openion is final and binding on the generations to come.Instead they said throw our saying onto the wall if it contradicts Quran and Sunnah... What would you say to the possibility of this happening?? No faqeeh has ever said that because i enjoy a respectable status so people should accept our point.. we must see their logic and argument before accepting

it is Islam, who gave women - the most honourable titles- Mother, Sister, Wife, Daughter and so on. Answer me if a woman can be a better soldier than a man or a man can bear the pain of pregnancy? Allah SWT kept the balance! Rejecting it means you rejeceting Islam on the whole. What suits you take it what doesn't say ohhh Times have changed since the advent of Islam. Hypocracy that is & that's by Allah not Islam. Master & slave have rights on each other. Man & woman as well have them.

@xfilez88 I can tell you that a woman can be a better or at least as good a soldier, pilot, commando, astronaut, scientist, shopkeeper, Head of a state, chef, lawyer, parent, etc than a man. If you look around, you will find plenty of evidence. That is why Quran does not forbid a woman to enjoy all these roles.

And saying that our All Fuqaha didn't understand Quran & Ahaadees and only Gamdi could do it. Think again! His understandings are based on standard understandings. Those Ulma devoted their entire lives for Deen. Him & that loose character woman sitting in three men with not her head covered-states it's a low propaganda but nothing. It is Islam who gave women the best rights till to this day. Yes, there are Khabees around but don't cast filth on respected fuqahaa. Shame if u do so.

& saying that Arabic Mafhoom is the problem let me remind Ghamdi that Islam reached through Arabs not from us to Arabs & the 1400 years of Islam - Fuqahaa were maily Arabs, then again Ghamdi is wrong. Maulana here was too stupid not to explain those points. In surahe Nisa Allah SWT says if a woman is doing something wrong - disobeying her husband then the man must punish her (How? refer to Ahaadess) if she still not in order then stop sleeping with her. Opposite is not stated. It's simple!

Point is if Allah SWT says in Quran that demand for two women as witnesses, in case if one forgets, so Allah SWT the Creator Knows the structural differences between a man & a woman. So Ghamdi is negating in open Allah SWT. Why not Allah SWT said the same for the men? So my Imaan is Allah SWT is Khairul Aleem-He Knows The BEST! Ghamdi's point of views are based on his understanding and yes he's wrong. Maulana didn't grab the point ether.
