  • I come from Yorkshire and I live there. Basically the song is about some lad that was on ilkley moor without a hat and with a girl. then they say that he'd get a cold because he didn't have a hat, then he would die, worms would go and eat him, then ducks would eat the worms and then the family would eat the ducks. =) And that's the correct translation.
