I use westley's tire cleaner fot the tires, not the rims. The rims I use car wash soap. I dunno, I have always found Westleys to be the best for cleaning tires.
no rim polisher used. if I was to clean them I would use Maquires #1 paint cleaner if they were really bad and #2 polish if they weren't. Then I would finish off with a couple of coats of Collinite #845 Insulator Wax.
Wow! Good job with that. I'm going to take better care of my next car. The one I have now is my first, so it has a few dings on it, as I learned how to drive in it. :-D

Kudos to you. SO MANY people drive around with wheels coated in brake dust.

Thanks. I hate brake dust on wheels. Even worse is when I see people have their tires rotated and now the back wheels are black.

damn good thing you use that cheap tire/rim cleaner because if you used actual good brand degreaser....you would be broke because you spray so much

You did a good job of cleaning them, that's kind of you! Do you use rim polisher?
And don't let the charity kids near your truck!

I have a painted female and a slider male. Both are a little over 17 years old. I have had them since they were babies.

I always keep my cars clean which isn't always easy
vbdenny 2 years ago
I can tell it's not an easy job. You have a very complex -- but good -- ritual. I've been taking my car to the local $3 car wash, lately.
