  • He came out of Indianapolis and worked as Jack Cougar initially,before being billed as Sheik Ali Hassan.You early WWF expansion fans knew him as Jack Doan(?),he was a ref for years for them.He lives here in the midwest,I just saw him over Thanksgiving.We both started on Bruiser's ring crew back in the mid 70's.Savage was booker for Owen then,and put him on top,and according to Dutch,they did good business up there with him.
