  • Awesome video Wendy, just got round to watching your new videos since last year, so glad to have some more to watch. Them controller mods and SNES mod are really cool, and thanks so much for the shout out, you're wicked!!! :)

  • @dancentral Thanks for commenting on all my new vids Dan! Howz life with you? You're welcome for the shoutout for sure. =^..^=

  • That controller mod is awesome looking.

  • @IntellivisionDude Thank you! It's super smooth now. LOL

  • Awesome Wendy, great job :) I tried a few different ways to fix the N64 joystick but without any luck lol.

  • @thomas3120 Thanks Thomas :D Buying the replacement joystick is the easiest and most effective way to go IMO.

  • I guess i'm officially American then seeing as you didn't refer to me as a British gamer! LOL ;)

Nice to see you back with another video :)

  • @bluetonic78 Thanks! You've been adopted. LOL

  • I've seen a lot of people say they've modded their system. However to see it is awesome :)

Modding a controller is something unheard of until now. Real cool to see something new.

Thanks so much for the shoutout! That is what a community should be about looking out and checking on others.

It was a while since I last saw a video so I wondered glad you're back :)

  • @Tom360degrees Thanks for the support Tom as always! Yeah, the N64 controller sticks get so worn out and hard to use. It's a worthwhile mod for sure. You are more than welcome for the shout out!

  • I remember the sense of elation at doing my first video game mod. The idea of making your video game experience markedly better is really really cool. Also the idea of completing one of these mods is cool like being carpenter and making a bench or being chef and making a meal :)

double mono helps! tv's often make mono sound half as loud. The tv set only plays sound out of one of the speakers unless it's in stereo.

I want to thank you so much for checking up on me and so often!

  • @fakeplasticball You're welcome Graham! Gotta check on my homies from time to time....make sure you are keepin' in real up there. :D Yes, mods are cool because it feels like you have more of a part in the game experience and it's kinda fun to change stuff for the better without actually breaking it! ha

  • @poptartlove2010

Horray for not breaking things! Also it was a long time coming but we have real snownow! Nature has not beeen keeping it real :P

  • @fakeplasticball Snow?!?! Brrr....it was almost 80 F here today. You should make a video of the snow! :o)

  • @poptartlove2010

and that sounds like a nice summer day. You'd think we lived on opposite sides of the world. I'll grab my HD camera before i go to work and we'll see what happens :)

  • @fakeplasticball Coolness! Looking forward to it. Oddly enough, AZ has snow about 3 hours north of me...but never in the part where I live. Hope you are well and having a good week!

  • Nice to see you back Wendy!! xD

  • @airrunner85 Thanks so much! Hope to see a vid from you soon as well. :D

  • I was so excited to see a new video from you! Great mods im definitely gonna be looking into the snes mod for super famicom carts.I had no idea thats all you had to do to play them.

    Great video ^_^

  • @AcousticKoi Thanks so much for the support! Yep, it's a super easy mod. The key is to get the right screw driver attachments for the screws. LukeMorse1 has a video on how to do it. Pretty easy.

  • its nice to see another video from you Wendy :) those mods look cool. is the snes one simply cutting those tabs? if so, i think i may look into doing that

  • @rammsteinfan234 Thanks Matthew! Yeah, you just cut the tabs and smooth them out. The key is having the correct screw driver attachment for those snes screws. :)

  • Nice to see another video woohoo. That N64 mod looks really cool .. on some of my controllers the stick wobbles a bit :( . Was it difficult to do it ?

Thanks for the shout out ., the way you describe us all checking on you is a bit like how people have to check there elderly neighbours have not fallen into the bath or down the stairs :D.

looking forward to your next video :D

  • @ibbotson22 Thanks Paul. :D The N64 controller mod was easy. You just open it up and disconnect a cable and replace the controller stick. There are vids on YT showing it. I am much older than you, so I do need you younguns checking on me. lol

  • Nice to see another video from you Wendy.

    Happy New Year :)

  • @ash81b4u Thanks Ash! Happy New Year to you as well. :D

  • enjoy playing pop'n'twinbee :D its a fun game!

Those new N64 controllers look awesome! :D

  • @nicktendowii Thank you Nick! Pop n Twinbee is great. So colorful and fun yet difficult too. I have it on GB and it's just as hard. Will you be making a video on what you got for Christmas?

  • @poptartlove2010 I did manage to complete it on the SNES. took a lot of tries though! :D I've actually already made a video, but the internet is really slow at the moment so it's taking forever to upload!

  • Nice work Wendy,it's good to see you back making videos :)

  • @darrenwalshsock Thanks Darren! You da man! :D

  • I modded my USA SNES so that it has 2 switches. Switch between NTSC/PAL and 50/60hz. Reason for the 50/60hz switch is because, some PAL games use odd timings to run at 50hz, so when switched to 60hz, it plays too fast. Also, some PAL games actually have a built in security that prevents the game from running (or displays a message about wrong region) if its running on 60hz. Reason for modding is because im in the UK and own games from UK, USA and Japan. Wanted one system to play them all. ^_^

  • @cradledani That's cool! I didn't know those mods were possible. You must be able to solder and do electronic stuff? Thanks for your support! :D

  • you handy woman you!!..nice one. were the thumb sticks worn out on n64 controllers? Twinbee is choice eh, and next youll have to pimp your Genny to play Doremon ;) im keen to do a response to FPBs tag too.

  • @cyanidebreathmintz Thanks Ben! Yeah, the thumbsticks were poorly designed and almost all the old controllers are worn out. Looking forward to your response to FPB's tag. :D

  • Nice to see another video from you Wendy :)

  • @marioandsonic1986 Thank you! :D Happy New Year!

  • Nice mods! My SNES sadly has not shown signs of life no matter what I have tried.

  • @JakalairVG Thank you! Sorry about your SNES. I think they usually go for about $45 or sometimes $60 for a toploader. Good luck!
