give us stinky dungeons filled with traps and secret rooms/passages, some monsters guarding chests with tons of loot and we will be happy as hell.
Nice engine. I'm in the works of implementing one cross-platform engine like this one for a comercial game we're doing in-house. Those textures are parallax-mapped? They look great

And I definitely do NOT want it to be smooth scrolling. Smooth scrolling 3D gives me motion sickness. I like the flick screen.

I like the flick screen style, very retro. But, how about a 'smooth move' option so you 'glide'/walk to the next position?

Nothing has ever really replicated Dungeon Master yet, has it? Not all the Eye of the Beholder clones, not Ultima Underworld..
