Excellent.

YOur vocals have a Texan feel and would make money in a honkey tonk. lol its kinda crazy.

To be overly critical. I got a little bored.. before the solos and all that. I wouldn't change it as far it is now though. Perhaps if you were performing it you could have a little more Umph before solos just to really emphasize power and put the listener in a different world.

@EmmaB979 Sorry to break into the Private Conversation thing going on here, but you have WAY more than just a "little bit" of talent!! If you had done this sort of thing in the 60s, you'd have made it huge..... this is top-notch stuff: i hope you keep on trucking and hopefully soon you'll be "discovered" by a big music producer or record label or something. You ROCK!! (in a folk-country sort of way.....)

@altareggo thanks there. i wouldnt mind making living from songwriting but not bothered about being a star or whatever..maybe i'll change my mind about that one day haha but i doubt it...i'm not star material really in that i dont look one or even have that ambition...to be honest i'm rubbish at public speaking and i also can barely cope with performing due to anxiety issues...

@altareggo ...but i was planning to send a song or two off to the UK songwriting contest but never did quite get around to it or couldnt afford it at that time. i do still quite like this song and its inspired my my favourite movie "About a Boy"...i'm just reading the book the film was based...i would definitely recommend the film and book to you if you havent seen it...and it is so true that "no man is an island". I will soon be buying a piano God willing tho I appreciate your feedback, thanks.
