  • Go play with your ibone Bart ;-)

  • Droid fanboi! :-)

  • tried it here... ( hk ) no sucess to have this kind of results.

btw u have to remember that the reception is calculated in dB ( logarithmic )

Which means that if you already receive few signal, but limit for 4-3 bars u can actually go down to 2 bars.

This is a total different result than iphone where just holding it in an area which receive lots of signal, just drop the signal to 0.

  • but it doesn't drop calls rite? iphone4 issues is more severe, cos I hold it everytime on dis phone I have no pro :)

  • To make this a fair comparison you need to be using an AT&T Nexus One, in the same location as an iPhone 4. Signal attenuation depends heavily on coverage area. In some areas, the iPhone 4's signal can not be significantly harmed no matter how you hold it.

  • Also I did manage to get it to drop down to 1 bar, but to do that I had to cover the phone entirely, clasping it between both hands so you couldn't see any of the phone.

  • LOL "think different, hold different"

  • Thanks for this. Interesting indeed. Not sure why Macrumors would say otherwise... unless only a small batch of the Nexus One was faulty :/. Cheers mate

  • Apologies for the video quality, it's quickly shot as I'm working right now, and the aspect ratio has been munged by youtube's upload.
