Just because the band is Christian does not mean that their music is religious. It does not even mean that they are religious. It simply means they have a system of beliefs that they have chosen to live out in their lives and it excludes music about sex and drugs. A christian is actually the opposite of everything you described. Being a christian is not having some rando set of beliefs and singing songs with positive messages. @yahrock Err I think you have that a little backwards... Relient K isn't a "christian band," but the members of the band are individually christians. A christian is actually the opposite of everything you described. Being a christian is not having some rando set of beliefs and singing songs with positive messages. Being a christian is believing what is written in the gospels... which is, I suppose, what some would deem "being religious."

@gladtidings27 Actually, Relient K Is in fact a Christian band. Most of their songs that I've heard are in fact religious, but can be taken as either spiritual or worldly. Some of their songs are about things other than God and Jesus, but that doesn't stop them from being a Christian band.

They are religious people, and they do sing religious songs, but music isn't about religion... it's about how it makes you feel. What it means to you. If you don't like the song, or the band, then don't comment and don't listen to it. Simple as that.

FYI... Relient K (yes with an E not an Am you guys cant even spell the band name right sheesh) has Christian band members, they dont claim to be a Christian band... There is a difference, which is why they have fun songs and songs about girls. The end.

They want their songs to relate to everybody so their songs are sometimes vague (Faking My Own Suicide) and some of them have no relationship to christianity in our perspective (Gibberish) , and some are completely christian (For The Moment I Feel Faint).
