  • i'm raising my kids on this shit when i decide to bring minions into the world. they need to know how amazing this was back then and how amazing it will remain for eternity.

  • this music is from a far far future...

  • DonkeyKong Country is by far the best, especially because it has SEVERAL masterworks that fit each level PERFECTLY. Somehow... all this feels so unreal.

Im playing videogames my entire life. I love them! Even tough the graphic became better and better, somehow the soul of the games and how the developers express it, became more and more dull and uncreative.

That are not childhoodfeelings influencing my judgements. Its a fact. THIS performance, from games on inferior platforms?! What happened? xD

  • @DunkleMaterie117 most ppl just care about the look of a game now - the graphik. And not the 'inside' gameplay ;) that's what sadly happened.

See at all that Ego-Shooters...I think that nearly every third game is a shooter nowadays...

  • This is track is exactly the style I think of when I think of 90s game soundtracks.

  • No one dares hate on fucking Donkey Kong Country. This game is just fucking good. Everyone played this shit and everyone knows the tunes.

  • my favorite

  • just finished a remix of this great song! /watch?v=10ygIxU-MwA

  • 0 dislikes... thats whats up

  • 0 dislikes ..... shows how much respect we have for this Epic game...that is until a troll dislikes it -__- if you do well.. FUCK YOU!!

  • I've been at SNES since I was 3 years old (1991) This is one of my absolute favorites to this day. Game set, match 360/PS3

  • And I love COD and GOW and other new games, but if I had the choice between them and the DK games, I'd always choose DK, I mean, when these 8 to 15 year olds looks back nearly 20 years, are they gonna be commenting on COD videos, saying how sad or how happy they are looking back on them, I mean I've listened to a few DK tracks tonight, ok I've had a few beers, but man it's kinda emotional lol, I can't imagine being sad over COD In 20 years time... ok drunk speech over :D

  • @roonige :D

  • Remember like when you where younger, and your grandparents or parents would say about how good there music was and stuff, and youd be like nahh it's garbage, well I never really thought I'd be saying it,but you got loads of these idiots saying shit on this game, obviously 12 years old have only grown up with COD, I feel sorry for them, what a amazing game this was, I'm just glad to of been apart of it,it's ashame they don't make games like this anymore, I feel old saying that and I'm only 24 lol

  • @roonige This game is epic. I played it last year 1 month before donkey kong country returns. After I finished and got DKCR, I realized... They do make games like this still, just not that many.

  • In 1994 I was 8 years old. And I still remember hogging the television on Christmas to play this game, and my sister was mad because she couldn't watch her brand new Aladdin VHS.

  • I still play Donkey kong country every day i love it

  • 0:58-1:10 almost made me faint.

  • this is my favorite video game period when sega genesis and super nintendo were making hit after hit games

  • my favorite music of all time in my days! god i wish i play this game again in some new future way with no computer viruses attatched

  • When you hit this level you knew hard times were ahead

  • SOMEONE REMAKE THE THE SUPER NINTENDO BRING OUT A SUPER NINTENDO 2

  • 0:00 - 0:56 = serious business

    0:56 - 1:08 = peacefully and eargasmic moment

1:09 - 1:18 = aw shit, business are getting even MORE serious!

  • man this music brings me back to the 90s. this was my 3rd game for the snes ( super mario world was first since it came with the system at one time and super mario all stars =D ) this is one of the reasons i was waiting in anticipation for DK Returns.

  • 1990 al 2000 esa era la epoca del super nintendo

  • @0188luigi

Eh...y el Nintendo 64 donde quedo?

  • Duuuuuuudeeee! I had forgotten this song. I have a tear in my eye. Im now 21 (became 21 9 days ago), and I played this game whole my life til I was like 13 years old since I was 4 years old. This song me gave me the feeling from back then, when I thought the world was peaceful and charming. :,(

  • @Realnec you cant appeciate this game if your only 21 now.

  • @davstec3 why not?

  • @Jawbreaker1000 cuz you have to be alive when this game first came out. it was ground breaking and blew everyones mind

  • @davstec3 it came out less than 21 years ago; it came out 1994.

  • @Jawbreaker1000 @davstec3

    Thanks Davstec :p

I couldn't answer in time because some e-mail verification problems with youtube.

  • This is what true gamers call passion. FUCK MW3!!! It could never compare to this or the SNES classics.

  • @MrStrav81 because this music is AWESOME!

  • @MrStrav81 good memories.

It is extremely well done, and incredibly nostalgic for people that played it as children.

  • oil drum alley?!?!

  • The first time I played this game was the first time I ever played a video game. That was back in 99 when I was 2. Fuck Call Of Duty . This game kicks all those x-box games' asses by more than a landslide.

  • Is it me, or is it the Emulator im using (Snes9Xw) because the tone is in a different pitch for some songs i dont know :)

  • @VictorTheSuperHero it might be because youtube has to warp the sounds so its not copyright

    or some shit

  • @gearsofwarisFTW23 ell then again maybe

  • @gearsofwarisFTW23 well i dont think so but maybe it is because of that.

  • I always liked this level. Hated the rest of the zone though.

  • I wonder why most PC-games dont get similar love with their ost's?

  • @VocaloidDTM As time goes on, I feel with everything, people just lose passion for it.

  • @VocaloidDTM it's all about the money now...that's it...and it makes me angry,and sad

  • @VocaloidDTM mainly because most of the games today, like fps barely have any music in them, which is sad, old school games like this always had some outstanding music in them, they, they aimed for that, nowdays it's graphics only

  • @VocaloidDTM more kids got their hands on sega and snes than a pc ?

  • @VocaloidDTM i don't know either but assassins creed 2 has got an amazing soundtrack

  • @VocaloidDTM There's a game called Deus Ex. Play it. Your opinion will be changed forever.

  • @danny6290 Absolutely agreed.

  • @VocaloidDTM Most PC osts aren't very notable. There are a few though, Cave Story and VVVVVV for example.

  • @XtraZero when i readed the first sentence, i was going to ask bout cave story, but u answered my question already xD, im glad that game went to nintendo instead of something else :P

  • very trance-ish.. especially the break

  • 1994 I was 13!!and I play this until 96 this music makes me cry and yes is worth to be repeated over and over and over

  • @jorasave agreed.

  • 1994 I was 13!!and I play this until 96 this music makes me cry

  • i love this game. remember taking so long to complete it, me and my best friend put together when we were kids. Now I can complete it with using very few lifes, and within 1 and half hour!

  • nostalgia.

  • Blackout basement.

  • This music sounds like something you would hear in a techno Club :D

  • I hated this level when I was young

  • BRILLIANT MUSIC!!!!!!

  • @Ienstien965 Man, some of those Industrial levels were hard.
