I saw this commercial ONE TIME back in 2000 I think and I was stunned by the emotions it stirred up. I agree, best commercial ever! Saw it on Mother's Day, they added "Happy Mother's Day" at the end. Still brings a tear. Rod Stewart wouldn't give permission to use the song, guess he had bad experience previously. Didn't even want to discuss it. They gave him a copy and asked him just to watch it. He was so touched that he gave permission. Probably the reason for the short run. P&G also made Puffs cartons for a short time with photos from the commercial. Thanks for finding it and posting!
