awsome vid , of an awe inspireing mind. halrious / uber funny.
DONT BE MISSLEAD ! CLIFFORD STOLL, IS A TRULY GENIUS / AGILE MIND !
20 MINUTES WITH CLIFFORD, IS WORTH MORE THAN VISITING SOME ''PRESIDENT'', WARREN BUFFET, BILL-GATES, ECT... [@X# PER PLATE.]
I SOLVED PART OF THE EQUATION FOR YOU, IF YOU CANT DECIFER THE REST, YOUR POSIBLY .. SHEEPLE-ISH, STUPID, & OR JUST NOT ENLIGHTEND ENOUGH TO RECOGNIZE COMPLETE-NESS !
I could just imagine his mother at his bar mitzvah. Oy he is such a genius, DO you have a daughter? A perfect example of what technology is capable of vomiting out in the digital age. Long on bullshgit short on content and obviously not enough leashes to go around.
@infoanalysis Strange comment, considering how avid he is about limiting technology in schools. I agree with removing computers(and calculators) from school, if you "learn something" on a calculator, what do you do without it?
@Duffytoler I think you need to listen to this again with a more open mind. During the full 18 minutes he spoke, without full elaboration though, he sent the message that kids these days need not rely on technology or computers to solve things. Learning should not change with technology and that it old school ways of doing things should still be important. Go and do something instead of sit at a computer. That future society is doomed if left to rely on technology to do everything for them.
@BelieveInFate thanks dude, i soe that spitch like 5 times, i love it but i cudent realy understand the point, that guy is allmoast like me, just a bit more creazy and a crapload smarter
This is what happens when you're a genious IMO. Listen to what he says and ignore his movements... he's brilliant and I would love a teacher like him.
nice! never thought of cliff stoll beeing emmet brown, but it fits perfectly. damn... now i have to watch the movie again. And: his ted talk was great. there is also another great talk on google video, a complete hour. inspiering man.

Why is he like this? Just asking.
Traderrocky 8 months ago
@Traderrocky
Best explanation?
He's nervous, that's why he's talking really fast.
He's thinking at a fast pace already, so by being nervous in this presentation, he is acting and thinking at a faster pace!
He is just a genius, who may be nervous during this presentation. Even if he isn't, he is thinking faster than he is speaking.
His mind is just really fast :3

I have. He actually says almost nothing. It's one of the worst TED talks, all style and no substance.
