i agree with purericebunny,there is.If there was a merchant like in RE4 this game would suck too.You have to do a lot of things as Leon,kill zombies,solve puzzles and everytime the merchant is in front of you "what are you buying?".Come on,he wouldn't be able to live that long

The Merchant was just an added spice to the game. I thought he was great, he had a certain trait in him which made him culturally adept with the RE world.

you can buy weapons and upgrades in between levels and before you start a level, but i do miss the merchant "ahhhh, ill buy it at a high price..."

You can buy stuff... you have to go to thr inventory screen by either restarting a chapter/checkpoint or when you first begin your playthrough.

@xxcutiex12 From the main menu got to -> Start -> Play game -> Item Management. From here you can buy/sell/upgrade your stuff. Besides, it wouldn't be good if in a country whose entire population has been infected with Las Plagas a merchant is present ?

Ok, "the fact that we don't care" aside, there Are reports of spiders that size being seen.

And im gonna make up some BS that Could be correct, as to why there are big spiders:

They got the virus in em, they grew.

In one of the report things you can find in the game it Does say that the "Las Plagas type 2" increased the size of some people it was used on, like those tall guys levels back.

Dont get me wrong, the realism behind this game Is interesting, but don't look too far into it.
