Just so everyone knows, this is not what a Viper 125mw really looks like, the beam was aided using some sort of steam/fog. I own a Viper 125mw and it does not look like at all, even with fresh batteries. However, it does look like this with a steamy room.
no it will be pulling out 50mW all green but then you won't blind yourself from the IR. all these lasers have IR filters and the powers are after the filter eg 95mW viper puts out >95mWall green 0-1mW IR. also don't buy from ebay most of them are scams and almost none of them have IR filters
Yes, you do have a pointt. High powered lasers can be dangerous.
No, high powered lasers should not be banned. They are much less dangerous than fire arms and a ban would not be effective.
Wrong. There are many legitimate uses for high power lasers. Light shows, astronomy, alignment, photography, avian dispersal, seach & rescue, research and entertainment just to mention a few.
how many videos have you copy and pasted the same message? no one cares and we all love lasers and we will always love lasers so go do your picketing elsewhere fuckwit
if you have a 95mW viper, could you do a demo? i'm thinking of getting one but i dnt how how good it is.. is the beam very very visible? in day + night. and if there are street lights. how badly will it affect the beam?
different back ground light, battery charge, different laser. A LOT of different reasons why lasers of same power appear to have a different brightness in different videos.
Please restock these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH
Goody908 10 months ago
@Goody908 They will not be back in stock for some time. Have you considered an equivalent laser like a Hulk or Spartan?
dragonlasers 10 months ago
@dragonlasers Im defininatley now buying a spartan 1W BLUE laser =] can you tell me if you ship to australia and will customs take the lasere???
Goody908 10 months ago

Hi-Just wandering.. im a bit new to lasers.. why is the beam visible? like even without dust its still really clear ! how does it happen ? :/
Thanks
viper125mW 2 years ago
Air always contains particles such as dust and pollution that will make a powerful enough beam visible.
Visibility is also due to Rayleigh scattering
dragonlasers 2 years ago
I am seriously considering buying one of these, but before I do I have one question. Did you use any fog to make the beam more visible?
Joshua271987 2 years ago
No need for fog. Our higher powered lasers are bright and clearly visible in dark or dim conditions.
dragonlasers 2 years ago
still its fuckin neat

Did you modify this at all or is this how it comes. thats damn impressive
nicksoccer999 2 years ago
These Viper lasers don't need modifying and this is how they come.
dragonlasers 2 years ago
whats cool is that you can actually see the beam of light.
gabz0906 2 years ago
do these lasers come with attachments to fit onto sharks for example, or any other extreme animal?
00sven00sven00 3 years ago
No. You can get attachments to control range and focus and also to split the beam into multiple beams which looks great
but
no animals.

Hi! can you tell me IR filter laser better then normal? And why? Be quick please! :)
barnasster 3 years ago
Infrared lasers are better than normal because they are safer. The invisible and dangerous IR light is filtered.
They are also better because the power level you pay for will be only green/blue light not useless IR light.
dragonlasers 3 years ago
I see! Thanks for the fast reply! And there is no power different on IR filtered and normal?
barnasster 3 years ago
There can be.
For example a laser with no IR filter may output 100mW (50mW green & 50mW IR)
Where as a laser with an IR filter would only output 50mW (all green)
dragonlasers 3 years ago
So are you saying that if I buy a cheap ebay laser that is outputting 50mw Ir and 50mw Green and put an IR filter, it will output 100mw all Green?
Or are you just saying that the manufacturer needs to test the laser output with the ir filter?
Metroid9824 3 years ago
no it will be pulling out 50mW all green but then you won't blind yourself from the IR. all these lasers have IR filters and the powers are after the filter eg 95mW viper puts out >95mWall green 0-1mW IR. also don't buy from ebay most of them are scams and almost none of them have IR filters

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Bag of laughs these high powered laser pointers until someone gets blinded by them.
The only wankers that buy these things are geeks, thugs and terrorists.
The people that sale, market and make these things are irresponsible cretins, any laser pointer over 5mw ought to be banned from sale.

Could you tell me the difference between the 125mw and the 95mw, I'm mostly concerned about the beam density.
HometownGuitar 4 years ago
You can tell the difference between the two beams but difference is not a lot.

PM sent with descriptions etc. In brief a Viper 95mW would be extremely visible in the dark and under street lights.

megapwn333 4 years ago
All you need for maximum power on a laser pointer is good quality standard brand name AAA batteries available and most shops.
dragonlasers 4 years ago
dont understand how come in this wideo the beam is a lot brighter than in other videos???

Did he/she use smoke/fog?
Metroid9824 3 years ago
No. There was no smoke or fog in this video.
The laser used was a Viper 125mW and the beam is bright and clearly visible in a dark or dim setting with out smoke or fog.
dragonlasers 3 years ago
I just got my Viper 125mw, and the beam doesnt look NEAR as a bright as that. Is my laser defective. What brand of batteries should I use?
