most of advertised security products , do help to remove infections of Mlware , but , did you ever asked yourself why do they do to your PC in the other hand ???

An antispyware free , might help you to detect a dozen of Malware , but will injects a hundreds of malicious codes hidden into your system ! CAMOUFLAGE & most of Antiviruses & anti malwares fails to detect in a real time !

I seriously don't recommend anyone to download any kind of protection for free. And the reason is because it might infect your computer. Also your computer might get hacked if you download that free antispy, antivirus protection or firewall. You guys we have to be carefull on what we download. Nothing in life is free. Now if you purchase that anti spy, or that antivirus or firewall its even more secure because you actually bought it and you know what it is going to do with your computer.

Thanks for the comment. For the most part, one does have to be careful when choosing an antispyware software. You should never click on a popup that is offering you antispyware as this is usually some sort of malware or spyware itself. And yes, many times, nothing in life is free. However, in this instance, Lavasoft's Adaware is a great free product. They also have a paid product which offers even more protection.

Reboot yinto safe mode

1. Restart your computer.

2. As soon as the power shuts down and before anything at all reappears on your screen start tappint the F8 key.

3. This will bring up an alternative Start-up menu.

4Use the up and down arrows to select safe Mode with Networking and press enter.

5. Login to your account if asked

6. Wait and eventually Windows will start in safe Mode. Windows will look different than usual.

7. Open update your anti spy and full scan it. retart your compute

advanced windows care (great all rounder)

ccleaner (cleans crap files)

Avira antivir personal (Free Antivirus)

glarys registry repair (repairs registry)

These should help remove a lot of shite that builds up in hard to see places.

This girl is full of crap. She is misleading you guys. She is advertising How to rid your PC of spyware for FREE! Its a lie. I downloaded this program and it let me scan but would not remove the spyware unless I registered and pay. This chick wasted my time and made me have to go back in and unstall the program. Watch out people.

If you install the Adaware PLUS version, then it may not let you remove items after a time since that is a TRIAL. If you download the regular FREE version (which is what THIS tutorial is about), it DOES let you remove items that it finds. Please try again as it seems you have downloaded the incorrect one.

Glad this helps you! There are other anti-spyware utilities out there too, but I'm partial to this one. Be careful when downloading others, because believe it or not, some "anti-spyware" software may actually be spyware in disguise! But this one is to be trusted :)

it is unfortunate that the free version has got a little worse over the years though. you should also install spybot (by safer networking) on your machines. It is best to have at least two different anti spyware programs.

I generally find that spybot S&D is better for a couple reasons:

1-it has a more in depth scan than ad-aware

2-spybot is free, with a FULL version

3-spybot doesn't require the installation of a service; and

4-spybot comes up with much more results than ad-aware.

About 1:30 into the video, it will show that you do not need the serial to use this program. When it prompts you for that, simply click 'CANCEL' and it will continue one. Hope this helps!

That's the bad thing about spyware...sometimes you get something that the antispyware can't remove or find. I've had to do a system reload before myself, but this does help keep most of the spyware off of my machine when I run it weekly.
