I've been singing since before I could talk and have been in choir for 13 years. I'm not saying it was bad and no one is perfect but you have to be kidding yourself when you say that it is not pitchy. He goes sharp at 1.54. He starts off flat and in the beginning majority of the notes are flat in the beginning. The higher notes in the end were his range, but not the "accidentals" he sang. I mean that in a literal sense and musical.

Country music singers seem to have a wider fanbase, and the producers knew they could make money off Scottie and Lauren, so they prevailed. I love this performance.I Loved almost everyone performance from Durbin. IT's called entertainment folks. And James is sooo authentic.
