  • Is anyone also wondering why it is called "the origin of schools"?

  • That is awesome, I have my own copy of the origin of species and i love darwin!!!!!! i wish he could give copies at my Catholic school.

  • I was give a copy of this book. The person that gave me the book got offended when I Riped the first fifty pages out and gave them back. Please keep your magic boogy man in the sky out of since.

  • These people are spreading lies and mentally handicapping children! There is nothing scientific about creation. They couldn't defend it under oath during the Dover Trial in 2005. So, please do not support this retardants of human progress.

"I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible that you may be mistaken." - Oliver Cromwell

  • is he lying or just stupid

  • @thebeastofvic both

  • am i the number 351,666 viewer?

  • The Youtube user Zomgitscriss totally destroyed this video by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron with a video of her own called The Origin of Stupidity! I recommend EVERYONE checks her video out... It's AWESOME!!! And since Ray Comfort likes to disable ratings I will make up a number for him: (negative 1).

  • If you want to have a laught watch "Origin of Stupidity" commenting this video.

  • It made me hugnry when he said Bacon 2:20

  • Listen to this sad, confused ape. :'(

  • OK I'll level with Kirk. Let him pray incessantly for the "atheistic hearts" to accept creationism. If god is listening it will happen. If not, put it to rest and NEVER EVER MENTION CREATIONISM AGAIN.

  • his stupidity is the reason why rating on this video is disabled!

  • Hmmm disdain for women? Because, you know, Christianity has NEEEEVER discriminated against women before.. *Rolls eyes*

    This video is pure hypocrisy.

  • They're also going to get laughed at in the realm of religion as well.

Take a look at all of the Christian dominations that accept macro - evolution and all of the Christians that accept macro - evolution too. It's not just limited to Christians, Jews and Muslims also accept macro - evolution as well and the Baha'i faith even stands by it.

Macro evolution is proven to the same extent as the idea of the Earth going around the sun.

  • It would be great if those guys in video accepted macro evolution if they intend to do what they want to do. However, they're just going to get laughed at and here's why...

Take a look at the fossil record, phylogenetics, comparative anatomy, DNA analysis, embryology, the molecular clock, transitional forms, biological succession, relative age dating and absolute age dating.

  • Kirk Cameron tells 3 demonstrable lies within the first 18 seconds of this video.

  • @nmaylo So is lying wrong?

  • @thewayofthemaster Not always. I just thought that I would point out that there isn't a shred of truth to his first three statements. Not a good start when you're trying to make a point.

  • @nmaylo Basically, in short: Two or more wrongs don't make a right, nor does a lesser wrong being committed make it not wrong at all. I also believe that morality is an evolutionary trait developed in conscious beings for the sake of their preservation and ability to reproduce and coexist. Obviously, not fool proof, as people still do wrong things and don't live in perfect harmony, but it still does work in that conscious beings are able to share the planet and live their lives.

  • @thewayofthemaster Yes lying is wrong, because lying causes suffering, and suffering complicates the human existence. All conscious beings live their whole lives trying to avoid suffering and to pursue pleasure, and naturally tend to please or coexist with others around them so as to make living easier, and to insure that they will successfully preserve themselves so they can reproduce, on varying levels of complexity. Nice try though.

  • @thewayofthemaster However, that doesn't mean that the act of lying is a worse wrong than say, murder. Unless you're also lying about murder. Unless you murder someone who is also trying to murder you. Either you don't fight back and let them die, or fight back, kill them, and live on. We exchange the lesser of two suckish things for the other to, like I said, avoid suffering and pursue pleasure, so as to preserve ourselves and eventually reproduce.

  • @thewayofthemaster Not the point. The point is that Kirk Cameron is wrong.

  • @thewayofthemaster Yes. But I suppose the people you intend to address are used to it.

  • This guy is pretty embarrassing.

  • ZOMGitsCriss already covered most of this, but...

Albert Einstein was a pantheist; he openly denied the existence of a supernatural God.

    Deal.

    With.

    It.

  • Great. You should make a Bible edition with scientific critism inserted next time. People can decide, right?

  • "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."

    -- Albert Einstein, 1954

    Just to clear things up.

    Happy New Year! =)

  • There are so many things wrong with that video I would have to make numerous posts so I will just cover a couple.

    1. There are so many transitional forms (most found in the last 20 years) that the fact that they exist cannot be disputed.

    2. The MAJORITY of scientists DO NOT believe that God created the universe. Religiosity and Intellect are inversely related and obviously most scientists are intelligent.

    3. Albert Einstein was NOT a religious person as is proven in the next post.

  • @p0gothem0nkey retard uses Lies and Deception. It's Super Effective!

  • Kirk Cameron: a good-looking nutjob.

  • I don't get it.

even if darwin was a racist, hated woman and was evil. eh... what would change about his theory then?

so if im a racist, homophobe who kills animals for fun and who says 2+2 = 4? I must be wrong?

  • Dislike, but was a hilarious watch nonetheless

  • Being that the ratings are disabled I will establish the ratings for them in this post. 351,042 views. 7 likes. 321,467 dislikes.

  • @p0gothem0nkey Normal person uses logic!

  • @Darthshepius wild retard ignored logic. It was not very effective.

  • How can there be this much stupid concentrated into a single person?

  • Hey all,

take the free book and rip out the 50 pages of religious crap! Great deal.

  • LOL, what an idiot! LOL

  • hahahah keep clicking 2:28 over and over again

  • If our freedoms are God-given, nobody can take them away. Explain to me how they're preventing kids from praying? Are they controlling their minds? That's the only way I can think of. Even if you disprove evolution, that won't prove Christianity. Even if you prove Christianity, that doesn't prove your flavor of it. Is the first amendment a God-given right, because I'm sure Yaweh hates blasphemy and people worshipping other gods.

  • Einstein is technically considered to be a theist.

Hard to believe but this is true.

  • @jshjamaar

    Nope.

  • Comfort adds useless information to a great book and gives them to college students to show them an equal view of both sides of the story. Sure it is fair and equal for both sides, just ignore the part where Hitler is thrown in just to make evolutionists feel bad for choosing fact over fiction. I just hope that university students today see through the useless fluff in those books, rip out rays arrogantly inserted BS and use it for something good like rolling papers or to like their bird cages.

  • Kirk = Epic Fail

Stop making more Xians look any stupider than they already are...

  • Isn't it a sin to lie? Or did you just forget to mention that the US are the home of the secular as well? Einstein did not believe in your god and Hitler who was convinced the Germans were especially created and chosen was a creationist like you two from Brokeback Mountain

  • Take TheKamikazeen's advice and watch my video "Origin of Stupidity."

  • Watch "Origin of Stupidity" and it will point out why this is retarded.

  • @TheKamikazeen you don't really have to...

  • I'm really surprised that only 61% of psychology and biology professors polled were agnostic and/or atheist. Perhaps the other 39% wanted to protect their jobs by not outing themselves. I suspect that the percentage is significantly higher for actual practicing psychologists or biologists.

  • It is amazing people still believe in evolution when all the evidence debunks it. All the evidence proves God exists and created the world. Even science debunks evolution. Atheists say Christianity is a fairy tale and evolution is true but the opposite is true.

  • @Creasock Retarded much?

  • What exactly is bad about atheism? Secular countries have much lower crime rates than more religious countries.

  • the bible...a waste of good trees.

  • @Requiemxtoxinnocence

It's not a waste if you use it as toilet paper. =D

  • It embarrasses me to look at a grown man expose so proudly his ignorance, and his eagerness to spread such ignorance to others.

  • @drittenacht Thing is, you've got to admit ONE deficiency in the theory of Evolution by Natural Selection.

If the theory is true in fact, and there is no real doubt about that because the evidence stacks up Himalayan high over a thin slick of slime which is the Creationists' idea of "evidence".... how is it possible that somebody so STUPID as Kirk Cameron has not exterminated himself and his threat to education..... simply by forgetting to BREATH!

  • i love uninformed and incorrect he is...

    good job, tard.

you just embarrassed yourself in front of millions!!!

i'll make sure to read those 50 pages to poor kids in africa...

i'm sure they'll get a good laugh at it.

it's also quite immature to take you're personal opinions completely unrelated to the book, and shove it in there...

you are officially more immature than a 10 year old.

    good job.

    you guys deserve an award.

  • Kirk, people have already heard of the opposing "correct" viewpoint, that's why they're atheists.

  • Those are my pure motivations for not adopting an attitude of unquestioning faith to something by its pure nature, makes you assume that processes that have been measured and proven can't be true. When I say that I'm an atheist, I know I can't disprove the idea of God, but it isn't that difficult to look at the factual evidence of the world and disprove the God's we've created and imagined.

  • So with that in mind, it allows us to grow, relative to our size, far beyond the amounts of any other species thats populated our Earth, yet when you walk down the street you don't see landfills of people everywhere. Yes, you'll see occasional cemeteries, but by the picture your painting, we should have already run out of room on Earth to bury our people. The Earth really isn't that small, there are still a lot of mysteries about it we don't understand.

  • So yea, I totally understand how'd you feel like there should just be layers after layers of dead stuff, and I guess all I could tell you is that there is. The Earth is just big enough and has processes of "cleaning up the trash" in a sense. How about this, there have been estimated 80 to 100 billion people that have lived and died on Earth over the last 8000 years. Now we're a different type of organism in the sense that we have the ability to adapt to virtually whatever environment we want...

  • Hmm.. That logic would make sense, if you dismiss disciplines like geography, which explain how natural process, over time affect the Earth. I don't think it's that surprising we find a lot more bones in the Earth from 1 million years ago, rather than 2 million and rather than 10 million, and rather than 60 million. It's difficult for us to grasp the idea of 1 million years, because we've only been able to record history for such a sort time, and I mean that by some pictorial or written info.

  • This will be my last comment. I will look into the Nairobi skeletons and see if they are real bones because I want the truth. If evolution was true and the earth is billions of years old, the bones of all those forms would make a deeply thick layer all over this planet; archaeologists will tell you that is not how it is. I am not trying to convince you of anything, I am simply asking why you haven't looked at ALL the evidence and yet still cling to your worldview? You have greater faith than I.

  • So, hopefully that clears some things up. Oh yea, some museums, most Smithsonian museums have casts of original fossils, exact replicas. If you want to see the exacts you'd have to go to the Nairobi Museums in Africa.

  • Let me clarify. I have heard of these. I would like to know of actual bones that have been found of a trans form. You are referring to manmade forms based on theories of what they would look like. Those are not based on actual fossils. If you really look to the evidence like you claim, you would know that all the bones thought to be a link between ape and man over the years have been proven false. I thought you were talking about some other species change. You should look into it!

  • if you have the resources in anthropology or something, but learn it from a person of the field. It would be irrational to try and learn evolution from a theologian. Which is why when I want to learn about evolution I go to the professors of it, and when I want to learn about theology I got to the professors of theology. I wouldn't consider going to a professor in Bio-anthropology to learn about Creationism, I'd go to a Creationist.

  • Okay, there is so little information here about such a huge and interesting topic. Like religion, the study of our evolution is incredibly interesting and just understand it is how I explain existence in my own way. Whether its real or not, I'm not hear to say. I'm a disciple of my ideology just like you, which is why I find it relevant to provide information to people who don't understand it is we're doing. If I were going to give you any bit of advice, I'd say perhaps take a class...

  • So, for the sake of already wasting so much space, I'll just list the rest.. next comes h. erectus -> h. hiebelergensis -> h. floresiensis -> h. -> h. sapiens (modern day humans) which took about 4 million years of microevolution to become who we are today as sapiens. The missconception is that we looked like we do now 4 million years ago. We couldn't, because our deviation of genetic code didn't exist then. Our genus family did and they looked a lot like the primates they evolved from.

  • Well, I've posted to many comments and its started to block me, lets see if this works now. Okay, so hopefully you understand the transition now from A. Africanus to the new genus and species Homo Habilis. Just to remind, this isn't like a modern day gorilla giving birth to a modern day human. This would be like a modern day gorilla given millions of years to deviate from its original genetic model to eventually deviate so far it can't be considered apart of its original species.

  • Starting around 4.2 million years ago, the species Australopithecus Afarensis started the trend of evolution into the new genus, homo. Next came Australopithecus Africanus, next a split from Australopithecines to homo, and understand these aren't modern day humans. These would probably look like apes by todays standards. There was just such a deviation from their original species that they couldn't be classed in the same species category anymore. Those are two intermediates, onto humans...

  • Scary.

  • I must say, I have been to a couple pretty substancial museums and I never saw any transitional fossils, not a single one. Can you name one for me? I ask this respectfully, is this about defending your atheist evolutionary worldview or is it really that you don't want to be accountable to some superior being?

  • @buttercupcb Unfortunately, I can't accept the argument made by most religious people that their religion can't be judged by its bad eggs. I understand Christianity, my brother is studying Theology to become a Pastor at one of the most prestigious seminaries. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Christianity or religion, I have no problem with my brother doing this. I just simply try and look at the facts and evidence in the world, and make the most logical decision I can with the evidence we have.

  • @buttercupcb So, you raised a few questions that I need to provide the answer to. I'll start with evidence of intermediates between species. I'll look at the evolution between primates and homo species, and then I'll give you some museums you can go to, to see these intermediates. Now to accept this information you're going to have to accept an old world understanding of the Earth (the Earth is 4.6 billion years old, the universe 13.7 billion years old). Macroevolution depends on this....

  • @LoveandPeace1983 ...the universe being this old. I understand that the religious community constantly judges our system around dating materials, but I don't think they really know the complexity and amount of dating tools we have. From research I've done, I've found around 12 - 15 different dating tools scientists utilize. So, I'll just give a timeline of species for the sake of time, you can research it further....

  • Apology accepted. Our nation is NOT mostly Christian; we just have a lot of people who claim it then go live contrary to their claims, as I mentioned before. I am curious to see these studies you speak of; where can I find all the details of who did the study and the definitions of their categories? My real question for you is this: Do you really want to know the Truth or are you only interested in research and debate?

  • Sorry to own the board there, maybe just needed to vent a little bit. I'll let Kirk get back to bananas and crocaducks.

  • I'm certainly not a genius, but I'd have to draw a connection there. Just for the record the most atheistic country in the world is Sweden, about 85 - 90% atheist, lowest crime rate in the world...

  • The UN needed to know whether religion had any association with low rates of morality in their country. What better example to test than The United States, one of the highest percentages of religion in the world. Latest info about 12 % of the old U.S. of A. is atheist, the remaining majority identify as a large majority of Christianity, not surprising. As I'm sure you've figured out by now, the US unfortunately has some of highest crime, murder and infant mortality rates in the world.

  • I'll just jump right to the facts. In 2005 the UN took poles on countries to determine the belief systems associated to try and see if a connection between belief and morality can be made. The, I believe it was, 7 most atheistic countries had the lowest level of crimes, lowest infant mortality, highest income per capita, best gender equality and etc.. basically a measurable way of explaining, that maybe atheism isn't itself bad, and people in history are. But this led to one last question..

  • See, there is an interesting contradiction being played out here. While a Creationist can close their eyes and scream, SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE, until their faces are blue, an evolutionist is forced to take a different path because of the current imbalance of perspectives in society. Not to beat a dead horse, but good old George H.W. "atheists aren't citizens nor patriotic." Interesting statement, also interesting is his IQ level which is below 100 (population average).

  • I am wondering where in the world you read that because it wasn't in my comments. I said he wasn't a Christian like you claimed he was. If someone is not a Christian, they aren't automatically an atheist.

  • @buttercupcb Well, for the sake of my point, let me finish and I'll try to understand what you just said. I wouldn't typically associate an atheism as an ideology, but because I think you'll relate to the explanation better. Now if I was going to associate a typical attitude that people who are atheists have, other than the fact that they obviously don't believe in God, is that they demand fact. They aren't happy with settling for, possibly.

  • @buttercupcb Alright, I apologize, I miss read your comment, but there is some fascinating information to be learned here. A common creationist argument is that an atheistic nation can't survive. They don't explain why, they just point at the tyrant leaders of the past, who were atheists and associate those atrocities with atheism, and sorry I didn't mean to categorize you there, I really did miss read, but still something interesting can come of this.

  • Go Kirk! <3

  • Kids can pray in public, they just dont. teacher led prayer is whats banned.

  • "God given"?

  • I was not criticizing, I honestly think it's sad. You also mentioned the Crusades, Salem witch trials, and Inquisition. Many horrors have been done in Jesus' Name, but that doesn't mean He sanctioned them. I can claim to be a Muslim, but if I don't live by the Koran, I'm a liar. Just because Comfort and Cameron don't address what you think they should in public doesn't mean they avoid the subject. You are free to write them and ask; I bet they will answer. Are you open-minded?

  • @buttercupcb See, it is fundamentally hypocritical to consider atheism as the motivation of atrocities like the holocaust, and like the genocide under Stalin. Yes, these men were atheist. Hitler was also addicted to amphetamine and as a result suffered from drug induced schizophrenia, but yea, that'd make perfect sense. He's an atheist so that's why he was doing drugs in the first place, right? I'd assume he was just crazy, but that argument is typically too uncomfortably logical.

  • @buttercupcb So, lets continue. I'm an atheist, as you probably could have guessed. I accept Darwinian Evolution as fact, solely because the evidence is so substantial and so in favor, it just would be unreasonable to consider otherwise. A creationist argument would be to claim that their is a lack of evidence proving the intermediates between species. I would say.. uh go to the museum and look at all the intermediates. They then say, but we have! So.. on to the intermediates.

  • Thank you for your respectful comments. Regardless of Hitler's claims, his actions proved otherwise. Just because someone claims a specific religion does not make them a true follower. And I don't see anything hypocritical in what I said. Comfort and Cameron have never called Darwin an idiot as I have seen in numerous comments here. They claim Creationism is true and point out how Darwin's THEORY has been scientifically disproven which many scientists agree with.

  • How sad that so many of you resort to name calling instead of giving logical, factual reasons for not believing the Bible. Researching both sides of an argument is the only way to make an intelligent decision. If you are right and there is no "Day of Judgment," well then Kirk has wasted a lot of his time and efforts; no harm no foul. But if you are wrong, you're risking an awful lot...

  • Comment removed

  • @buttercupcb That's Pascal's Wager, otherwise known as being a religious hypocrite, an unforgivable sin. Your assertion, one born in the 17th Century from Blaise Pascal, was refuted a mere generation later at the hands of Voltaire and, subsequently, every learned philosopher since.

I have a copy of Cameron/Comfort's version of Origin. Notably, he excised Chapter VI, in which Darwin refute all of the supposed hoaxes.

Comfort's introduction is a complete fraud.

  • @Ematched

  • @buttercupcb I also find it somewhat objectionable that you criticize comments on this video for "name calling," when a majority of Comfort's introduction is itself name-calling and personal attacks on Darwin.

What Comfort/Cameron fail to mention is that Hitler's campaign was wholly RELIGIOUS (in Mein Kampf he says his actions against the Jews are on behalf of "the Almighty Creator"). Nor do they mention the Crusades/Inquisition/Salem witch trials, etc. Their selectivity should give us pause.

  • All those famous scientist belived in god for the only reason that they would probably be killed (maybe not Einstein) if they said they didn't. Kopernicus was the only one who spoke against the curch by dissproving that the eart wasn't flat. He was killed.

Also you christians always name intelligent people believing in god, but you never name the bad ones. Hitler a christian himself caused an extermination of more than 6 million people. fuck youtubes charachter limit.

  • Yes, kids can still pray in public and they most certainly can freely open a bible in school. The only difference now is that they are not FORCED to do so Kirk!. The 10 Commandments are most certainly able to be displayed on public proper. Right alongside icons of other religious faiths. As for why atheism has doubled, yes, I'm sure it's because 61% of the teachers are atheist. Kirk, you are such a complete and utter tool, it's pathetic.

  • It makes me want to punch babies every time I hear theists say "Hurrr durrr atheists think everything came from nothing." Because that is exactly opposite of what they think. It's theists that think everything came from nothing.

  • Atheism has doubled because humans are becoming smarter over time. All religions are the same; they answer the same basic, seemingly unanswerable questions about life. Science has evolved a lot, so a lot of these religious questions are being answered. Religion is going to die out soon.

  • Everytime that I see Kirk Cameron, I want to start pelting him with fruit. I don't know why. Maybe it's his hair. Maybe it's the stuff he says. Especially when talking about "evolution and something-from-nothing" (tomato!), "Hitler and evolution" (apple!), "opposing and correct view" (watermelon!) and "Einstein believed in god" (pineapple!).

    The cold buffett is open.

  • Hey man I'm all for listening to both sides of the argument. Do know why so many professors across the nation believe in evolution? Evolution is a hell of a lot more scientifically sound and more logical than God. There is a book that everybody who is reading this message should read. It's called "The greatest show on Earth" look it up. It's the documentation of a scientist whose findings through a 20 year study witnessed evolution 1st hand by studding sexually reproductive microscopic bacteria.

  • You want to talk about brain washed? Christianity is the belief that there was a Jewish Zombie who was his own father & died 2000 years ago. He can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat fruit from an evil tree that the Jew Zombie put there in the first place. My apologies for being skeptical

  • I'm 16 and i can single handly refute all the so called "evidence" of your biast crap kirk cameron. And that goes for all you ignorant thiests.

  • @ontheprowl1000 I find it funny that they try so hard to make a argument about intelligent design when they clearly are not intelligent.

  • Ah nothing like a book full of quote mining and science thought up by creationists.

  • I've been linked here through Criss' video breaking it down. And lol, these poor people think their argument is justifiable.

  • It's interesting to see that you mention Hitlers connection to Darwinsim and latero n Einstiens connection to his belefies in a higher power.

Both these presentations are fualty and twisted. Stupidity will always be stupidity.

  • so i dont believe in god im a sinner ? i dont think so im a good man i know from right from wrong and iv lived my life without god

  • Hmmmm ... Ratings disabled. That tells ma all I need to know. [click]

  • @effyleven He didn't want to allow ratings because he knew that there would be idiots such as yourself coming on to give a negative rating before even watching the video.

  • @JamesRideout123 Of course. Cameron is a known Creationist, which is another word for mindless cretin. Are you a mindless cretin, too?

  • @JamesRideout123 No, ratings were disabled because creationists need to hide the fact that their rhetoric is dishonest, feeble nonsense.

  • "Brainwashed" LOL. FAIL.

  • The only reason this appeals to kids is because he's sitting backwards in a chair... NO JOKE.

  • "to present the opposing and CORRECT view"?? wow.. what a moron.

  • The ignorance exhibited by this man makes my heart die in my chest.

    STOP EMBARRASSING YOURSELF!

  • @sirbestnameever gos not hiding he gives us signs everyday hes here.

the fact that not only are we here but have music, sports, art ect makes me believe we are part of a intelligent design.

    im a former athiest.

  • @lilbeaveymac i wonder what god thought as he killed millions of jews, flew in the wtc

and instead of creating global warming, awsome signs

  • @Strawu he gave us freewill.

we arent a bunch of robots.

you cant know light without darkness,or happiness without sadness

  • @lilbeaveymac duality... thats a joke right!? there are endless different possibilities.

anyways the whole video is wrong, the statements are wrong, he just talks a bunch of crap. And if there was a god he would be ashamed of people like him.

He is probaly wondering why you and all these people won't use the thing between their ears.

  • stopped at 1:50. BRAINWASHING?! You seriously put that out as an argument against ATHEISM? lololol. It's not the educated professors that are causing the loss of ground for religion. It's critical thinking skills. Not ONE of my college professors even broached the topic of religion (except anthropology of religion). No, I discovered things like GOOGLE where you can type "Can a virgin become pregnant". There is a lot of material on that search. And I will bet they are not conspiring to undo..

  • @worktosser know how u fell i just pawnd him with logic and he (lilbeaveymac) just says art and music is prove of god and im realy upset cause that arument was the best one that i made with out coping athist videos. help

  • A brilliant response to Cameron's shameful lies:

    watch?v=fmHN3JtyUXg

  • A single page from The Origin of Species contains more truth than all 66 books of the Holy Bible.

  • This is false in so many ways, it's insane.

  • Funny thing is that the majority of the people who are becoming atheists realize that the "all-loving" and "all-merciful" God that they had been worshiping is, as Thomas Jefferson once quoted:

"The Christian god is a three headed monster; cruel, evil and capricious. If one wishes to know more of this raging, three headed, beast-like god, one only needs to look at the caliber of the people who say they serve him. They are always of two classes: fools and hypocrites."

  • Bibles can't be read in school, children can't pray in school, and the ten commandments can't be displayed in public places (public places such as court houses though he doesn't mention that). And do you know why? It's called "seperation of church and state.

  • ssssnake!!!!!!!! LOL! u got owned!!!!!

  • @DJRavek

and as i'm sure it's been mentioned in previous comments, bible banging only nurtures atheism. talking like all atheists are wrong, and you are right, only makes you seem arrogant, and ignorant. Human's are logical creatures, and therefore; logic will prevail. I don't see much logic in the bible, other than moral foundation, which i do follow.

  • Creationism isn't freaking science. Why would SCIENCE teach something that ISN'T science?

You can't practice medicine based on creationism. In fact, creationism does NOTHING for biology. So why should we teach something that's TOTALLY WORTHLESS for science in classes? Kirk & Ray, what you guys are doing is pollution.

  • You creationists talk about oppression yet you discriminate against homosexuals such as myself.

  • ssssnake!

  • ...no wonder athiesm has doubled in the last 25 years. You help it along, Kirk.

  • he makes christians looks stupid

  • @dontdrunkimtalk what are you talking about

  • remember god is all knowing and created man with a "sinful" heart in the first place. so i guess god is a backstabbing, baby killing, psychopath who contradicts himself

  • You sir are a fraud....

  • Wow, awesome you are trying to sell Christianity, you must be so proud!!

  • Oh dear. Why the assumption that atheists have never heard about creationism? Most atheists I've met are very much aware of it.

  • lol brain washed yer i think u got that backwards mr sky daddy who grants wishes

  • @sirbestnameever gods not a mam, jesus was god in the flesh,we are too meager like ants to understand god

  • @lilbeaveymac (couldn't get it all in read after other) u dont understand logic and that pisses people off evolution isnt a theory its scientific fact just like the theory of gravity is fact u have to understand or fuck off like the amish and let the people who want to live in reality live there. were converting chillren in to athiest any way by the time ur a granparent ever one will be athiest this has alrealdy started, look how many people are athist then look how many there were 50 years ago

  • It is a shame that they pretend to explain in science universities a theory about the creation of the human kind without using more arguments than "famous scientists believed in it" If they used something more than relationing Charles Darwin with Hitler, just to create some kind of disgust against Darwin's theory, it will be less shameless.

In fact, Einstein didn't believed in god, he said tha he called "God" to a kind of physical "force",etc.

Sorry for the bad english, I'm from Spain

  • Fuck you. You aren't just content with being an idiot, no, you are actually trying to halt the progress of humanity you moronic cunt

  • Every major scientific study supports the validity of evolution. At the time of the publication "On the Origin of Species," a strong working understanding of genetics didn't exist. Darwin's theories do not lend themselves to fanatics who choose racism/eugenics over sound scientific dialogue. The idea of altering the most widely interpreted and accepted scientific body of knowledge is disgraceful. If Ray Comfort held a PhD in evolutionary biology, perhaps this would be something to talk about.

  • I'm a Christian, and I'm so embarrassed by this. I give it 2 giant eyerolls.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: Christianity is not supposed to be like this! He doesn't represent the views of the rest of the Church.

Please don't lump us all together as science hating crackpots.

Atheism is "doubling" not because of evolution, but because people only see Christians like this. This 'Christianity' is not attractive to me at all, and I'm a Christian.

I sorta only agree with his statement on the gospel (1:03).

  • @Moonraker0022 Thanks for sticking up for your religion in a meaningful way.

It´s important that christians who disagree with clowns such as these two stand up and speak out - nothing turns people of from something if all they see is nonsense coming from it - so again, thanks

"Atheism is "doubling" not because of evolution" - this is true for many, not for all but YEC creationism turns quite a lot of people of from christianity, probably more than evolution has since it need not conflict. Cheers

  • So the ploy was to distribute religious propaganda as a trojan horse, since distributing it directly was banned?

If I got a copy I'd have 50 uncomfortable pieces of toilet paper. (or 25, printed on both sides of course)

  • hahaha as most of the time. this video has ratings desabled. its very constant on religious videos

  • Without hearing THE alternative? This man needs to get off HIS high horse. Christianity is hardly THE alternative, almost every culture has had its own god(s) and beliefs, that differ wildly from this individuals. His being a christian is merely by chance and circumstances. Theres a reason they dont teach the "alternative view" in chemistry during school and show the kids the "other side" of the debate and have them learn alchemy.

  • Is this guy really trying to do the old 'sitting backwards on a chair to appear cool to younger generations'-trick? And if what he says is true, shouldn't every religion be given a chance? Because now he's just being a giant hypocrite. That's why I love the quote I first heard spoken aloud by Richard Dawkins (not sure if he is the original source, alas):

"we are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."

  • It takes a lot of work to give Theists a bad name. Well done, Kirk!

  • I think this plan would have gone even better if they had given away a free banana with each copy.

  • What? This is propaganda, man so tiring, you have to give away the books for free.. (are you scared) Never trust books you got for free. It is also not nice that you try to mislead people with the cover of your book and even the need to use the name of Darwin to get your point puts you into a weack position.

  • Why do you two and many other creationist equate evolution with the Big Bang Theory. The two don't have anything to do with each other. Not only that but the way your videos present evolution and the Big Bang theory is wrong. All the Big Bang theory states is that the universe was once very small and suddenly started expanding for unknown reasons. For all scientists know, a deity could very well have started the Big Bang. It is unlikely but not impossible. No one claims more or less.

  • i like the way he says students should be able to make up their own minds....translation "you can make up your own mind but if you dont choose the evidenceless side of creationism YOURE WRONG!" lol

  • 61 percent is still very low.

  • Oh i have to kick someone's ass after watching this.

  • Very mature argument – the fact you cannot even conceive that all existence can be explained outside the naturalist formwork deduces that you do not care what is reality or not, evolution is your crutch to disbelieve in God, and being aggressive to views that counter yours show just how intolerant you are.

  • "the fact you cannot even conceive that all existence can be explained outside the naturalist formwork deduces that you do not care what is reality or not"

So do you openly accept the possibility of the Allah? Ra? Zeus? The flying spaghetti monster and his cousin the pink unicorn? These are also outside the realm of naturalistic reality, and if you oppose these ideas well you obviously do not care about what is reality or not. Funny how crazy your logic makes you look when flipped. Just saying

  • Funny, in the video 'Are you a good person' WOTM go to great pains to point out that lying is a sin. And god hates sin. Kirk Cameron will surely burn in hell for this video... at least he would if there were a hell... oh, and a god.

  • Must see pay preview

  • The only way I would become Christian is if god promised me Ray comfort Kirk Cameron pat Robertson etc etc yada yada, would burn in hell. Give me that and I'll believe all the lies you can come up with!

  • He's sitting A.C. Slater style. lol

  • Aww, no ratings. Scared of dissent, are we?

  • Claims that DNA explains evolution with no evidence (failing to see that instructions and codes can only come from an instructor and code maker), and much much more.
