keep in mind also, a thicker knife will not slice paper as well as a thin knife. if you have a thin knife and a thick knife, both just as sharp, the thin one will slice better. thicker is better for strength and wedging capability, thin is good for slicing and delicate work

You can't go wrong with a Mora. I have a few and a Fallkniven. Honestly, I'd rather take a Mora into the woods because I'd cry less if something happened to my $9 Mora that I would if something happened to my $125 H1.

@otakop67 i have a lovely stag handel knife, i would hate if the knife got broken or lost, i still use it but special occasions only, my cheap knives i dont care about.
