Fantastic collection of 80's Anime beauties. Back in the days they really kicked ass and handrawn anime always looks better than modern CGI Stuff. That rough look and the high level of detail in backgrounds and characters faces was and IS far superior to modern anime quality standards.
I been watching anime for nearly over 15 years now and honestly I'm sorta disgusted with the way the art looks now. The art direction seems cheesy and at times very simplistic. I'm obsessed with the older looks of the 80s and early 90s. It just seems like the artist worked a bit longer on their art. Even in the animation itself, I enjoy the painted cells over the CG color. Gives everything a more realistic and gritty style. Like it was worked on.
I couldn't agree more, another thing that's changed is the subject matter of a lot of anime. The reason anime got popular in the US was because of the edgy action, and thriller ova's that where released on vhs 90's, It was something new and special at the time, now everything looks the same, and its more geared towards kids for the most part. Its just like when a band sells out to get more radio hits. These new school fans are so quick to critisize an oldschool gem because it looks "dated."
i cant watch your "horror love" video.because whenever i click on the video to play ; it says that the video is private. Do something please ; so i can watch the video & tell which, which anime is in that video
Behind the anime worship of the female form is the truth that the females of this planet are on the ascendant.

Well done 8/10...you spotted my cheating as well. But the style is 80s...meaning well drawn and beautiful (I think the actual manga of those are from late 80s).
But try and guess the anime in the "horror-love" version in the video-response, that's a hard one I think.
Burn Up and Project A-Ko. Now I wonder who the red haired gal in the stripperific blue armor (Remember! Armor Class: the less it covers the higher it is!) is.
What is the movie shown at 5:32 of the girl singing into a microphone with blue hair and pink boots? Looks beautiful.

Luna Varga was an awsome OVA ^^,most 80;s anime girls were Cuter (with a few exceptions) than most of the females of today;s era.
Leina Stol (from the machine robo franchise) and Mia Alice from Dangaioh were some of the most memorable 80's anime females ^^

80's anime girls kicked ass back then. They were better looking too.
I noticed clips from Macross:DYRL, Leda the fantastic adventure of Yoko, Iczer One, Project Ako, Outlanders, Megazone 23, and Gunbuster.
Could someone tell me what the other ones are?

Could you upload the real files to like, megaupload or w/e? I'd like to dowload all of the parts. Of course if I must I'll rip 'em.
