Unbelieveable. This video is 3 years old and only 21,000 views. Why isn't there more views? At least 1 million. It's friggin' TOOL, man! Awesome job, guys.
Ive always wanted to play pushit with my band now that ive seen this i think im gonna go 4 it now cuz we play stinkfist better so i figure we could do pushit better as well
OMG!!! was that actual talent? ...on youtube? damn good job! my band might be covering this (stinkfist) at our talent show, and with any luck vicarious too!
BEST tool cover ever. awesome job! idk about everyone else, but my vid was all laggy and pixelated. and i would def wanna see this is good vid quality.
Not bad at all guys. My friends and I cover TOOL all the time and it is so much fun to feel those songs behind the instruments as opposed to just listening to the c.d.'s. You should get down Rosetta Stoned and post the instrumental which is better than some out of key singer anyway. I know how hard it is to cover TOOL because Maynard is one of a kind on vocals. RS is so fun to play and not as difficult as one might think (although epic). Keep up the good work you drunken bastards. TOOL=BRAINFOOD
if someone can find me a place to host the vid i would be more then happy to put it up. for some reason the link i posted in the comments does not stream the video but i think you can download it

Amazing, im sure tool would be very proud. Im in London and the school kids here would prob perform McFly shite or sum M-C Freestylin (badly), as for a talent contest, the schools cant even organise their sports teams. Keep up the good work.
Verrry nice. I'm in a band myself, and we play only covers for now. I tried to convince them that we should play some Tool. Suggested Schism, Vicarious, or Stinkfist. But most of them didn't go for it cuz the songs were too slow for em.
This was really good. I'm glad you were able to play in front of a bunch of people that might not know the Tool "classics." Or show them a little bit of the art that music does involve.
The transition between the two songs was done great.
I'm glad you didn't have vocals. Without them, the song was able to be much more powerful. I would have loved to have been there. Is there an mp3 copy of this somewhere? :P
wait...is the crowd fucking chanting the lyrics at 1:55? maybe im hearing things...what state is this high school in? at my school I never knew a single other tool fan. phenomenal playing for highschoolers by the way. its already cool seeing an any aged person taping himself playing a tool song on guitar and then posting it here...but you have a BAND (-singer) playing it...AND you are all highschoolers.
Sweet. You guys did a great job with those covers. I wasn't expecting much when I first clicked on this but you guys shut me up. That was awesome when you guys whent into pushit. That transition couldn't have gone any better. Also, would that be an SR500 your bassist is playing? Nice choice, that's a sweet bass... well if that is what you're playing ofcourse... if not then go to hell. lol
i liked the bass and the guitar a lot: the bass very junky and kinda clunky... in a good way, and the guitar was awsome effects-wise. Loved the guitar's intro for Stinkfist, that whine gave me chills.
Tell me about it! When I was in high school it was apparent that I was the only TOOL fan there. Pathetic, really. You can't argue with personal preference, but you can argue against regurgitated sounds such as the bands you mentioned.
