A few days ago, a friend told me that the typical B-complex you can find at the grocery is actually full of things that are toxic to the body (like formaldehyde!). a pure ground beef burger, tomato and lettuce are not junk food...the bun and french fries, and for sure the soda are...there are lots of B vitamins in beef, too, not just whole grains...overall, though, a good discussion.

If you take too much of anything, it can become toxic; including water.
Death by vitamin poisoning is virtually non-existent.
Water soluble vitamins, such as the B group and vitamin C cannot be stored by the body to any great extent, so if you take in more than your body needs, they are simply excreted. However, the fat soluble vitamins A and D can accumulate in the body, but pose no danger to your health if consumed within the safe upper limits indicated for them.
it's better to get your vitamins from food sources than a bunch of pills with proceced vitamins and iven some times quimicals manipulations. (sorry about my english)

I've been a ovo-vegetarian for a couple of months now, but I'm still having trouble getting eg zinc and B12 from my diet, so I have to take supplements instead.

Ideally, you want to nutrient rich diet.
Supplements are better than not getting the vitamins and minerals at all.
Whole food vitamins are better than synthetic ones. Certain vitamins & minerals are need in combinations to absorb. Fruits and vegetables already have those combinations built into them.

Could it be that they have a less than altruistic attitude towards us? I would say most doctors have good intentions toward you. However, the AMA which is funded and controlled by the drug companies, and the drug companies themselves just want to make money off of you. So the doctors end up getting indoctrinated with a lot of information that is designed to keep the money flowing from you to the medical system.
one word sales in a medical field aka capitalism just doesn't work with out exponentially higher your bottom line(where is it at) it's the amount of sick people.

I love the all-natural approach - not only are we getting rid of the addiction of unnatural foods with all of its side effects, as well as obviously the havoc it has on our bodies, but we are creating a very optimistic outlook on our futures - and how much better we feel after following your advice! Thank you for these video's :-) I wonder, just like 'Shiggadiggit' mentioned below, what your opinion is on taking dietary supplements. For example, I take chlorella on a daily basis and it seems to have almost everything in it you mentioned in this video. Thanks again.

I was wondering, could you do a special video about how to get all the necessary nutrients from a vegetarian (or vegan) diet?
I've been a ovo-vegetarian for a couple of months now, but I'm still having trouble getting eg zinc and B12 from my diet, so I have to take supplements instead.
Do you have any tips?

What are your thoughts on taking dietary supplements? You mentioned whole foods and processed foods but how effective are supplements?

Ideally, you want to nutrient rich diet.
Supplements are better than not getting the vitamins and minerals at all.
Whole food vitamins are better than synthetic ones. Certain vitamins & minerals are need in combinations to absorb. Fruits and vegetables already have those combinations built into them.
Natalie has some recommended supplements on her website.

Great video Natalie. I'd like to suggest a video about the vegetarian diet as the being the most healthy diet. I recently became vegetarian for multipe reasons, but one of them was the claim that vegetarians are healthier than meat eaters. I'd love to know your opinion about it.

One wonders why Psychiatrists, Drug companies and medicos in general seem to act as if this information does not exist or is somehow not pertinent? Could it be that they have a less than altruistic attitude towards us? Naw they are "Doctors" and doctors know all about the mind, right and they have our best intersts at heart right? or do they not?

I would say most doctors have good intentions toward you. However, the AMA which is funded and controlled by the drug companies, and the drug companies themselves just want to make money off of you. So the doctors end up getting indoctrinated with a lot of information that is designed to keep the money flowing from you to the medical system.
