I believe if you took any of them away you wouldn't have Dr. Hook. Each brought their own indivuality to the group. The guy with the patch had his own distinct sound that helped make Dr. Hook what they were and it wouldn't have been the same without him.

Apparently, Ray Sawyer is a very nice guy. I don't deny this. But he cannot sing, the songs Dennis Locorriere sang lead on without embarrassing himself. A friend of mine saw him perform a few years ago and he said that the people in the audience were laughing at Ray throughout the event, but he sadly added, they were not laughing with Ray, they were laughing at him.

@DuaneMThomas This is the worst bullshit I ever had heard Ray Sawyer cannot sing Ray sang Wonderful Soupstone Turn on the wourld, Millianary, Marie Lebow Levantie, The Ballad of Walk right in, You make my pants and many more most of the songs they sang together, Dennis had a great voice yes but that did Ray too read the last review from Rays concert in Glasgow last year the parer din,t miss Dennis at all!!

Booked for venues same place over and over again and Dennis fans are very jalous on him. I have also booked Ray for a great sold out concert everyone there had a real nice time.

@chebaalhuda the album is called "Belly Up". i think it's their first, before "Sloppy Seconds". I have both on vinyl, but it's great to see these live versions after all these years
