1. We say that i download 1.9 and the 2.0 is released will the computer automatically install the 2.0 version or do i need to go to the website and burn it again on a cd and install again?

I think you have to reinstall. But all your Software update automatically. Yes you can install and deinstall programs.. Ultimate is only ubuntu with a lof of preistalled tools...

U need to configure compiz, and set desktops (right downd tables to 4) press ctrl+alt+mouse botton and rotate your Cube)

To: Cnmil_ I trustingly left windows and I have more time to do more productive things. No more Anti-Virus & updates, blue screen crashes, and other nonesense. Why pay for a faulty product? Windows is very nice but very flawed. Ultimately very irritating and frustrating. Big RipOff!!! Ubuntu Ultimate Rocks big time. Try it with a decent computer. Windows is just robbing consumers with false sense of security by updates and antivirus and other non-productive nonesense every day it exists.

Linux is for servers..not ready for desktop yet

windows is the best because:

-easy migration

-stability

-simplicity

-comfort

and the vista sp1 will have most compatibility issues fixed and it's goin to be MUCH FASTER..

also security improvements in xp sp3

Linux and MAC are more stable (I know, Vista is a lot more stable than XP, still not enough for me :p) -simplicity??? sorry, that belongs to MAC. -confort??? yeah!, you have been using windows for YEARS, youre simply used to it, MUCH FASTER!!!! only for a SP... what thing did you smoke!!!

nop theyre like added on default only on the ultimate version but you can install them, you just have to find them in synaptic...
