  • I THINK I CRAPED MY PANTS ON HOW AWESOME IT SOUNDS

  • Nice Ride Man !!!....... do you know whats the name of the configuration that you used on your screamin eagle performance tuner???

  • nice bike

  • hogtastic

  • hey mate

absolutely love this bike. think this video has sold me on the FXDB!

Is that a custom paint job? What exactly is it?

Sounds a great bike mate, any major flaws you feel I should know?

    Thanks!

  • @rbrowning

It's a flat black factory paint job... It's called black denim... No flaws at all... It's a beast on the road... You just have to watch out for speeding tickets... It has after market exhaust, air filter & fuel management system...

When I drive my 1982 Yamaha Seca 650cc on the road, I get no respect... When I drive the flat black beast on the road, everybody moves out of my way... Love it!!!

Ride safe! Loud pipes save lives!!!

  • @rynoosh How about engine over heating and not being able to ride in stop/go traffic. Why are there so many forums on engine over heating in HDs?? People recommend that I don't take it on long rides and baby it and be ready to spend a huge deal on repair. What do you think?

  • @MrChutzpah2002 #1 - If you can't afford to fix or maintain a Harley, then don't buy one. People who usually bitch about a Harley are people who wish they could afford one, are jealous of those who do have one or they prefer those foreign coffin rockets. Harley Davidson's are TANKS!

  • @MrChutzpah2002 #2 - I put 10000k on my bike in the first 3 months of owning it. It now has 20000k & the bike is only a year old. Long rides, stop & go traffic. From a cold 0 degrees to a hot 35 to 40 degrees. NO ISSUES. Just stay on top of the maintenance schedule, change your fluids, check your brakes & tire pressure. Preventative maintenance. You should be good to go.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 #3 - I don't baby any bike I have. I ride hard & I ride loud. #4 I love waking up my neighbors at 8am on a Sunday morning, especially the cop who lives across the street from me. #4 - LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES.

  • @rynoosh nice video and very nice bike. in a very near future I will buy a fat bob. now I have a 1995 XJ600S DIVERSION. Neighbors can be a pain in the ass, they are complaining about my bike, to noisy they say, they already call the cops on me a few times and one stupid guy tried to punch me and threat to put my bike on fire. I just imagine what they are going to say and how they will react when I arrive home with my Haley . :) I think think They will probably try to shoot me and kill me... LOL

  • Yes it's ok to ride in the rain. That black cover you see is a rain guard. If I were to take it off, the filter would look like a K&N Air Filter...

  • amazing sound. is it ok to ride in the rain with that air filter?

  • The only thing I have to complain about my SB is the placement of the key. If you wanna have it there that's fine but let me take the key out. Looks silly to have the key flopping around while you ride. Oh and that ugly ass huge stock air cleaner cover. Other then that. Beautiful bike! Love the side shoot look. I hear they cause the bike to lose some power in the bottom end. Might fix that with your air cleaner. Any comment on that?

  • Got a 2010 SB... trying to decide between the V&H short shots you've got here and the BUB sidecutters. Any words?

  • I have never seen the BUB sidecutters and I'm happy with the V&H short shots. The long shots are nice too. H-D will tell you that you need to purchase the fuel pak (fuel management system) or else the bike will bog or hesitate due to more air entering and exiting the bike, which is true, but I've been told by an experienced technician that a performance tuner from H-D will do a better job and is more precise instead of a fuel pak and the tuner is the same price...

  • If I were to get any other exhaust system, I would get Reinhart Exhaust short shots or long shots. There louder but are double the price of the V&H exhaust... Good luck with your decision and ride safe and hard!

  • @GhostSoldier77777 I have V/H Big Radius on my Street Bob, awesome sound but a little more expensive than the short shots but worth every penny.

  • awesome fxdb and great v&h shortshots too.also the k&n intake is perfect for this bike!

i will be getting the exact same setup on a 2011 fxdb black denim.
