This version is WAY better than the album version! The released single seems kinda slower and less heavy. Just can't find this one anywhere outside of youtube.
This was THE song that got me into "the new music" in 1978 when I was 18. Our Canadian copies of "Power In The Darkness" included a bonus disc with the Rising Free EP plus 2-4-6-8...
The classic TRB line-up: Tom Robinson (bass/vocals), Danny Kustow (guitar/backup vocals), Mark Ambler (keyboards/backup vocals), and "Dolphin" Taylor (drums/backup vocals). The original & best!!
awww its been years since ive heard this! my mum used to play it in the car when we where kids about 13 years ago and we would sing along my mum, my brother and me haha
I was in a cover band in '81 in upstate N.Y. and this song was always the opener in the first set. It's a great timeless rocker during the punk golden era.
i was looking for a clip from to kill a mockingbird, but you know that's the great thing about the internet; you go looking for one thing and end up on something else entirely. groovy song. yea, i just said groovy, so wat? lol
I'm a liberal guy & I think it is disgusting and grossly hypocritical how SOME (ie not all) members of the Gay community have turned on Tom Robinson coz he... went straight. He did not turn Christian Conservative/ homophobic he just married a woman. I know Peter Tatchell agrees.

I knew Tom was gay but it didn,t stop me from loving this song way back in the days when a WII fit was someone who could piss whilst doing a handstand.
I put this onto a CD for a 3 hour drive my friends and I took when going to Schoolies. All 17 none of them had heard of TRB or this song. I had them hooked before we got down the street. ;P They are so awesome. :D
Always thought this was such a silly cliche troupe, Tom making a 'tough' duckface must be one of the silliest late 7T's affairs. He should've worn short trousers to make the "look"complete.
