Fantastic opening, with the Organ coming up out of the floor! Most of the great Organs in Theaters of the past around the world had this capability. Let's just hope more of these fabulous instruments are restored and maintained.
Outstanding version of Leroy Anderson's "Bugler's Holiday" by a wonderfully talented young organist. I look forward to hearing him in concert in Berkeley on Feb. 15, 2009
I played this instrument almost every Saturday morning before the theater opened when I was a 16 year old. My first theater organ experience! Sure wish it sounded as good then! Sure wish it had the added Posthorn and additional unification, too!
I would record it backing up my girlfriend singing, she was actually pretty darn good, and was thrilled with the (unit)'orchestral' accompaniment, The things we do for love.
This is really cool, I've watched several videos of different organists playing this piece (including Cameron Carpenter) and this is the best one I've come across.
Reminds me of the old days at the Bella Roma Pizza Parlor in California... Dave Reese, the head organist there, used to play that tune... A real showpiece!"
All that speed and accuracy coupled with superb musicianship! Unique!

Great job with a Leroy Anderson original. Who wouldn't want an entrance like that, rising up out of the stage.

Yep, this is a really good arrangement. Most organists play this piece way too fast (need I mention who). Ron has the right tempo.
