@TheSovietdino Hi. I don't really see what you mean by free play but probably because we can build our own maps,playing online on the internet or on LAN and I think there is some side missions. I just got this game yesterday. It's really good. It's way smoother than Theater of war II. This one is more stable and easyer to run. I love it.

@TheSovietdino Hey hi. You said the USSR? Are you sure you bought Theater of war 3 Korea? Because the Russians are only in Theater of war 2. In the 3th one there`s only Korea and the USA.

By the way you will see that the hard thing in this game is the fact that the troops are not coordonated when they are forwarding and it`s getting messy. Your mortars will always stay far behind while the trucks and the tanks will be in the first line.

@TheSovietdino There`s also few other things I miss like in this game:

-The fact that the defense always have a big advantage because they are covered in their tranches.

-The fact that we need to pick every unit 1 by 1(with Alt) to select their weapon. I think if we don`t do that they wont shot (Maybe Im wrong but that`s what I saw)

-The units are slow to react and don`t always do what we tell them.

That`s what I noticed in the 2 games I made since I`v installed the game.

I dunno I downloaded the trial, and whenver I tried order of battle it wouldnt do anything, then the battle would load and get a quarter of the way and then exit to my home screen

ToW:s have the basic idea done quite nicely, but infantry AI is horrible

Let's take this for example;

American soldier and NK-soldier were having a quite hilarious looking melee fight in a trench that americans just stormed into. It should be noted that right next to these two were few other americans just watching and standing, until, one american got a bright idea and threw a handgrenade into middle of them. Result; 1 NK soldier KIA, 4 Allied GI KIA.
