i'm not a twilight fan, and part of that reason is because she chose edward over jacob. he is much stabler than edward is, and much kinder to her. ed forces her into things, does things she doesn't want him to, practically stalks her in the first book, and is abusive! jake is kind, a good friend, and gives more to the relationship than sparkles and SEX.
