I first heard this song, as did the world, in 1963 ( I was 13) when the late Kyu Sakamoto had a international hit with Japanese original version. I always loved the melody, and the way he preformed this song, although I never heard the American Version till now. I think Mr. Perez has a wonderful voice and new slower version, which needs to be released. Mr. Perez deserves to be a star.
