it means, what a fuck is she doing? a woman singing this? doesent sounds good, listen Wunderlich or Bär... there are songs FOR a woman.

Listen you bigot: she does a wonderful job with this. There are many women that sing it beautifully and have a great deal to say regarding the poetry. To make the blanket statement that there are songs for men and different songs for women is pedantic and uneducated. Grow up.

I have this DVD it's such a brilliant recordng. Along with Fassbaender's, it's the only good female recording of this cycle in my opinion. Also a not uninteresting storyline to the movie.
