These were golden episodes - Channel 4/E4 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let a movie version about the characters from Generation 1 get made - Three sections: Sid and Cassie in New York, Maxxie, James and Anwar in London and Tony, Michelle, Jal and the minor characters in Bristol/Colleges.

Seasons 1 & 2 were great but so were 3 & 4. By the time I finished 1 & 2, I was sure that I could never get over the loss of those characters and the introduction of new ones, but Skins has a way of developing characters that really draws you in, regardless.

I've yet to watch series 5, since I'm American so I have to watch Skins on the internet.
