Great vid nice one. I have had the dmj 800 and cdj 1000's and although the sound was great i did think the cross faders were pants. I am going to buy this mixer, i thnk from what i read its FUN mxer, which is what i want at the moment. I think the effects wont be as crisp as the 800 all the same i think for price, with all the effects and midi plans built in for tractor i think it has to be a winner. dysfunctional dj's :)

the denon dnhd2500 is a stand alone unit so you can run it with a usb keyboard and not take a laptop, you will need a pc or laptop to load tunes into it though, you can also plug in a hard drive if the on board 40gb is too small or you want to just use music on an external drive. the mixer can not be used stand alone, you need a music source. hope that helps

Hermm heard so many good reviews on this mixer from die hard pioneer heads as well.
May have been true for the previous Behringer mixers but the sound on this is sposed to be quality. Just look at the user reviews it's incredibly good value and still retains loads of features and good quality. I'm definitely getting one sometime within the next month.
Once again, someone who knows very little about sound. The quality is bad because it is being recorded through a pathetic camcorder microphone. The DDM4000 is the best DJ mixer on the market bar none. If you compare it with the DJM800 there is no contest, the Behringer is in a different league probably because they have been doing proper mixers for years! Low price would be a Numark M1, which is a toy in comparison.
i dont know if it will beat it but it is a very good mixer...and for me easy to use....no problemss...the layout is also good only the HP...but it is not very anoying...another thing i like is the sample function...very easy and very helpfull..

stay away from the korg km series! I had a korg KM 202 and the PFL fader started to go after a few months, and then the left channel upfader started to go to :-( also the bass EQ knobs were also on the way out, flimsy and plastic. :-(
dude can you adjust the brightness of those blue lights..just looking at the video and they are very annoyng i imagine what it is in front of you..that sucks but anyway its a great $400 bucks mixer. :D
this mixer is really good, the 4 blue lights on top are really bright though, and can make it hard to see on top. aside from that, this mixer is top notch.

glad i came across this mixer, was gonna wait until i could afford a djm 800 but this has more features and is way cheaper. I dont doubt the build quality is not as good as pioneers, but you can bet that by the time it does finally give up the ghost there'll be something new that everyone wants.

@amirjon Pioneer is the top notch DJ provider... however you can't say the behringer is shit it beats alot of other mixers out there and it practically does the same job as the pioneers.

With that, traktor and 2 cds or turntbales you could get good enough to play big clubs and make some real money if you know how to use it to its fullest. Just my advice, take it and do whatever...

ok for one this mixer will naver hold a candle the the 8oo. pioneer has been making dj gear for longer they Behringer has been around Behringer is geting batter with thier stuff but have a long way to go to even come close to pioneer but it is good to see they have made some changes with the fx because tell you what they suck on the djx700....

the sound quality is perfect there is no distortion and no soundloss its like whatching a blu-ray dvd,with 37inch 1080P HDTV and a HD soround sound set up all in 1 thats what this mixer will give you!
Well, just got mine. I filmed an unboxing that I'll try to get posted. My overall impression is that it's pretty good, but like most Behringer equipment their build style requires that you use things gentler than a mixer with panel-mounted and stabilized pots. The effects are OK - a bit digital but great at the price. The sampler triggered by the CF is really useful. Those blue LEDs are REALLY bright, and frankly need to get dimmed a bit by some ink or polish. Overall, at $350 it's greatx2.

You know that they are making firmware to make the whole surface Midi mappable? I called them today (Behringer) and they confirmed that this is coming. I was so amazed at the report from MusicMesse that this was happening that I called to confirm. At that price, it could break almost 5 times before it cost the same as the DJM800 - and Behringer isn't THAT bad with quality control.
Mine came in, and I say that for the money it's a really nice unit. It isn't as good as a pioneer, but then again it is 1/4 the price. I think that Behringer delivered a decent unit at a fabulous price.

You can't use a USB cable for it. You need an actual MIDI card. Most good sound cards have it. You can get external USB MIDI cards too.

Behringer was founded in 1989. First Pioneer DJ product was the CDJ-500 in 1994.
So Pioneer has not been making DJ gear for longer than Behringer has been around.

wer behringer kauft ist selbst schuld und kauft im endeffekt doppelt, das wird sich auch mit dem neuen "flagschiff" nicht ändern

also ich hab ja schon seit jahren nen kleinen behringer mixer. der funktioniert noch immer einwandfrei. kann natürlich sein, dass das bei den dj-mixern anders ist...

m8, what on earth were u doin in ur vid?? did u demonstrate ANYTHING interesing? u just played 2 songs, and played a bit with the effect section, what didnt even sound good.
