Naughty pony!!! Well... I guess as far as my advice goes: don't look at the fences. Maybe a tiny little nub of a spur could help you, too, and when your horse refuses, keep looking straight ahead and make sure your eyes don't venture down by the fence and don't allow your horse to walk past the fence right away. One firm spank with the crop behind your leg and making him come up to the fence in a really forward trot may help too. I'm glad you had fun because that's what showin is about :D

You dont ride particularly badly, just more leg, and more determination, he's taking the mic (and he's lame but aside that) ride him positivley and between your hand and leg. Oh and use ur whip when he stops!! u carry one but dont use it! so basically get him to a vet first, he looks sore in front and play it by ear.

haha yea! I thikn it was either sterling or pirate so either way I wasnt in a great position haha ( but mayb pirate wud hav at least jumped the jumps haha)
But sterling was good on the flat- except that one part (@ 1:25 ) when he decided he wanted to be in a rodeo! ha
you could have got him going a bit faster and ridden him like you meant it

haha yea. he not very responive to the leg sometimes and if i hit him with the crop he would buck and like shut down haha.
