  • how much for blender????

  • how handy

  • Hey, I am trying to achieve such an explosion effect on rigid bodies with 2.54, do you have any idea how I could do that?

  • I wonder is there any Blender TV ads somewhere. This one could be good example.

  • I've been looking for tutorials that leach that type of stuff but i cant find any that realy help

  • so what its just a cube with a brick wall tex-O.O

  • how do you make the background white like that?

  • How do you do stuff liek this?!?!??!

The only thing I can do is create objects and move them etc....

How do you animate liek this???

  • learn some blender physics please, there are enough video tutorials

  • blender is relly cool and all but i think itz relly confuzeing

  • after a while u'll get used to it. Check out my blender Mountains Test tosee wat I mean. It only took me 2 days to get the knowledge to do it....

  • @Herlyskate

Maybe if you passed 3rd grade English Blender would be easier for you.

  • @Herlyskate It's really not.

  • yo i need help. what version of blender do u use cause i use 2.48

  • Why is it that a bunch of the videos on youtube that have been rendered in blender seem to always be "Glitchy" if you will? They are always pausing and resuming vary quickly and that loading circle doesn't go away.

  • I think they changed some code in their web player, because before I did not have that problem, which not only occurs on a blender rendered video. it must be a problem of codec/conversion

  • @HholyDiver42

I think that only happens because the videos tend to be very short,

on average about 10-20 seconds, the youtube player is desgined to work with videos much longer than this. I think anyway...

  • @HholyDiver42

Also when you render a blender video it is pretty large.

  • @HholyDiver42 It happens when videos are posted without sound. If the video has a soundtrack, even a completely quiet one, this problem will go away.

Although I think youtube fixed it already...

  • how do u use blender!!!!!!!!!!

  • watch tutorials?

  • dang, how'd u do this?

i didn't know how to do ANYTHING wen i downloaded blender a while back,

i never expected u could do something like this ~Sub'd and Rated 5/5~

  • Jenga FAIL

  • what is the thing that made it explode?

  • nice xD

  • Overlapping bricks.

  • For anyone not paying attension:

This is NOT something taken from the GE, this guy just saved the physics as an ipo and then rendered it as an animation.

  • Jenga!

  • By Fobbies are Borange?

  • super cool

  • sweet

  • Look at the title or description before posting stupid comments.

  • Exactly, it even says it in the video itself. Damn, people annoy me sometimes....

  • first off, cool vid. secondly, I know how to make things explode by using the particles and the explode modifier, but my particles always render with a glow arounf them. how do I make the glow go away? thanks.

  • Check your material settings. Make sure that Halo is not selected. If it's not, and it still doesn't work let me know.

  • I figured it out. in the particles settings, you have to select 'none' instead of 'particles'. also you have to make sure that you enable the particle producer to be rendered.

  • erasers!!!

  • is there a easy way to make them stack like that

  • can blender automatically make physics happen? like Phun?

  • i believe so,(dont now phun) if u use the explosion option,

u can set time and the nr of particles that will explode etc. im learning

but im still noob with blender ;)

  • this is pre-rendered not real time so you cant compare to crysis

  • still the physics were done in blender game engine then rendered

  • Crysis can't do that realtime without major slowdown on today's hardware. The videos where you see the massive physics in Crysis were prerendered also.

  • Crysis isn't a 3d modelling program. This was created and rendered in a single program, it's not a GAME like crysis.

  • @Tippmann01 What is your problem? We know that :P

  • What modelling Software?

  • I'm guessing just Blender...you can use Blender for just about everything.

  • yeah, it will even cook your dinner& make you coffee. :)

    nah, i wish.. :)

  • lol

  • with bluetooth it might be possible XD

  • omg wit me it says mscvr17.dll not found or something

  • download dll from dllfiles(dot)com

  • so u dont need a physics card but would it it be easier to on the cpu if you had one

  • no you don't need a physics card. hell ya, it makes a big difference, depending on how good you physics card is.

  • do i need a physic card on my pc to play this game??

  • No you don't and its not a game its a free modeling software with a built in physics engine. You can use it to make games too.

  • tyvm

  • that's so cool!

  • Great job! Did you use radiosity, if not, what kinda light did you use?

    Very impressive.

  • No radiosity

I used the ambiant occlusion with a power of 2 or 2.5...I don't remember...

  • I wonder when Blender will ever have an indirect lighting feature in it's internal render ...

  • cool :D*hugs*

  • ...is the hug necessary?

  • naa cant just live with out hugs x]

  • You should go work at Crytek, they screw with shit excacly like that, but on a much larger scale. It looks like you had about 300 bricks, shoot for 1000. :D

  • what was the render time?

  • Actually I don't remember...maybe 6 - 8 hours

  • LOL 10 seconds and 6 hours? :D 2 years when you want to make a movie :)Please give me a tutorial...

  • i like it the way it goes. now you can see the details and stuff. great job

  • so easy to do in REALTIME

  • is it a program if yes where can i find it ??

  • yes blender is a program.

download it for free at blender3d dot org.

  • thanks.

  • too slow

  • Yes I know...

I could not really change that...the physic engine has been made like that; but it gives a sensation of "big explosion".

    Thank you for commenting

(I know my english is bad....sorry)

  • Actually, after you made the simulation ('recorded the Game physics to IPO'), you can go to the NLA editor (click the button at the bottom left of the 3D editor) and 'scale' the keys, so that they are denser. Then the simulation gets faster. I hope this helped you :)

  • yes it helps me!

    thank you for that information!

I wasn't ready to re-scale IPO curves of every bricks one by one^^

  • really cool

  • man thats great work!!

  • Can blender's physics handle combustion and expanding gases (explosions, etc)?

  • no .. but you can fake it with geometrie that you delete after baking softbodies

  • ah... I knew I remmbered ur name on youtube, this was one of the things that made me want to learn blender

  • this also looks kinda not-real.

  • wow i have blender 3d and no idea how to use a tut would be nice

  • Nice Work. :)

  • thank you!
