About the music: Beckett indicated that each actor/actress should have a percussion sound associated to them. As distinct from each other as possible, and that was it. So there is no written music for this play.
A very decent approach at Beckett's play (not easy!) Good work. Great music. I don't have the book with me right now, but I remember that Beckett says something about the central area, that is it to be avoided or something. I think the dot is the performers' idea, but not sure right now.

May be yes, I was harsh...so was the comment, this was not anyone else's adaptation, but Beckett's very own...One might have difficulties in understanding a work, but to lash at it without caring to find out surrounding details is RIDICULOUS to me...it is an ethical question, I can swear I have never done this and moreover, basic reception to and interpretation of and philosophical context to something is so easy to get hold of these days, you just need to google it...

The physical precision of each individual and the sense of unison within the group is really hard to maintain when you can only see 2 feet in front of you. Any mistake will ruin the entire piece and possibly cause a collision. If its done perfectly the performers never see each other.
That is Samuel Beckett...that is his great work...not for all my friend...blame ur head n never dare abuse one of the greatest creators of the 20th century...it is just too good 4 u...one of the best minimalist plays...
I was going to say what renegadx said but your snide comment put me off. "Just too good for you"? "Blame your head"?. Since when is it wrong or abusive to express your shock and awe provoked by a performance? If you are offended by 'watta fak' then you are far too moral to be digging a bit o' Beckett. I know Beckett's work, so, clearly, do you (is this why you are so painfully proud) but there are folk who get to experience his work minus all the stuff they learned at college. So what?

Beckett's work is so much about the anal circuit...."FUCK" is such an ideal expression, now that I look back...And for your kind info, I am not DIGGING A BIT OF BECKETT..i have studied him seriously for the last 5 years, read everything that he has written(most of the most of the notebooks), almost everything on him and currently starting my PHD on Beckett..I dislike unstudied insolence, which is SO SO SO EASY...Is it not?

I don't think the music was written. There are four percussionists and each one plays when his "character" enters. But I could be wrong.
