Allison is coming to Dublin on 8th november Myself and my 12 year old daughter have our tickets and we cannot wait.....my daughter loves her music as do I ....a living prayer ........the lucky one......down to the river to pray.....baby mine...baby now that I found you...hows the world treating you {with James Taylor}....Restless.....there is a reason........cannot wait to see this superstar live
Well said Mr Beaton, Dan is the quiet powerhouse of the band. Amazing that those tender harmonies can come out of such a big guy, considering his Soggy Bottom type vocals are so manly. Dan is just a superb musician all round.
I don't think Dan isn't praised enough for his "second-skin" harmonies, and his superior guitar chops. The sound they make with their blended voices is the gold at the centre of this great band. Some voices just melt together while others just don't. It's a mysterious alchemy with no explanations. Enjoy it when it happens, ahh enjoy it!
Oh yeah, that Live Performance DVD is still dear to my heart, lost count how many time I've watch it over the years. Truly a beautiful concert, don't need no fancy lightshow or stage theatrical makeups. Just her voice and the music is enough to last forever.
Alison's languid voice expresses that universal longing for love and the pain associated with inevitable separateness better than anyone I've ever heard. I never grow tired of hearing her sing this song.
it's all about the minute details of absolute perfection. at 1:11 when the drums kick in you can see ron block hear it, hear how badass it sounds, and smile.
"Love is as much of an object as an obsession. Everybody wants it, everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it. Those who do, will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all, will never...never forget it.”

She got her 27th Grammy last night and is still only 40 yrs old. A truly remarkable record that will never be beaten. Adele has a long way to go.

Beautiful song by a seemingly genuine person. Alison is awesome along with Jerry, Dan, and Ron.

One of her best - I love the album, there's not a bad song on it. Simply beautiful, we are blessed to have her as an artist. Thanks for posting.
